  • Cosy Victorian Pad was a perfect home from home for our short stay in Peebles.
The flat is fairly centrally placed within a shortish walk to the centre of Peebles, and was very comfortable and welcoming.
...Nice and clean, decent shower, fresh bedding and towels...
We were on a short workshop weekend and we really needed a place to rest at the end of an intense day.
    It suited all our needs.
There was a good choice of different eating places to suit any budget/taste.
Richard was more than helpful with information beforehand, and all in all we had a really enjoyable stay.
I would certainly like to visit again...and spend some time exploring the beautiful countryside..

  • We had a wonderful short break in Peebles in this cottage which is situated perfectly for exploring the beautiful scottish borders. The cottage had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing break. Our host Richard was so easy to communicate with, helpful and very responsive to our queries. Only issue - our time here was way too short - ha! I recommend a week here to get full benefit of the area and all there is to see. We will def return THANK YOU Richard. Best wishes Liz x

  • Really excellent place to stay. Extremely well prepared, equipped and comfortable. Great location: wonderful for the local area and also so easy to visit surrounding Border towns and countryside and also to get into Edinburgh. Wish we could have stayed longer! Would happily go back any time. Very friendly and helpful communication from the host.

Professional bagpiper, after school worker(football stopper!), and tractor mechanic.
I'm new to this airBnB thing - so keep with me. I'm a civil servant that left before it was too late:-) retrained and am now over in Sweden with my family. Although I retrained as a tractor mechanic I am now mostly working in a Steiner school looking after the children. Well, when I say that I'm actually the lowest paid professional footballer in the country as I spend a couple of hours a day in goal having the ball booted at me by pre-teenagers. These boys and gurls know who to hurl a ball believe me. I have also ramped up the professional bagpipe playing while over here. I play weddings, social scenes and busk. Look out for me: PotterThePiper. Thanks for checking me out on airBnB.
