  • The Jax Beach House was a great choice for our weekend visit to Jacksonville. The apartment is clean, has a great location, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stanley is an excellent host and has thought of everything a guest might wish for while on a beach vacation. We loved our stay and would recommend this location to anyone that wants a relaxing, comfortable getaway spot.

  • We loved staying here! The location was great, it's only one block to the ocean and we were able to walk just a few minutes to lots of restaurants and bars. Stanley and Gail were so friendly and the apartment was wonderful! It was great to have a little kitchen so we could prepare a few meals instead of eating out for all of them. No complaints at all about our experience, I'm sure we'll be staying here again in the future!

  • We enjoyed this place. Stanley and his wife were the perfect blend of being around but not hovering over you. We dont travel much so when we do, we want everything perfect. This was pretty darn close. This will be the first place to we look to stay when we come back to Jacksonville.

  • Stanley was the perfect host. This was my first AirBNB experience and it could not have been more perfect. Very hospitable, the apartment was beautiful, plenty of towels, linens, nicely equipped kitchen, gorgeous view, I can't say enough positive things. Stay here for an outstanding beach vacation!

  • We stayed at Stanley's for a long weekend. We loved his adorable little second-floor apartment. It was spotless, cozy, and full of light. Perfect for our party of three. It opens out onto a sizable deck with an even larger one on the roof with an ocean view. The location is absolutely primo. Quiet neighborhood and a block from the beach! We were there to train for the Boston Marathon because we knew the beach was flat and hard, great for long runs.

Stanley was friendly and easy-going. He lives in the house on the first floor. He checked in with us on the first day to make sure we had everything we needed (we did!), but at the same time, gave us privacy.

We rented a place in Jax Beach last year that had a lot of problems and a nasty host who lived in Canada. (Her house is now for sale--not surprising.) Our experience with Stanley was the exact opposite. He restored our faith in Air BnB. Highly recommended!!

  • we came to jax beach so my girlfriend could compete in the 26.2 with Donna Marathon. We brought my mom along for moral support and the accommodations were perfect for the 3 of us. clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. plenty of towels too, which i like.. you can't beat the value. would have been twice the cost for a hotel with half the amenities.
the rooftop deck was one of a kind. what a great place to have the morning coffee and watch the waves roll in. we are looking forward to coming back for an extended relaxation stay. with no marathons!
    thanks again, Stanley. -Will
