This is St. Pete. at its best!

Had a wonderful time staying in Hillary and Mark's guest house. It is beautiful and looks exactly like it did in the pictures. It was very private, which made it feel like it's own little hotel! Hillary and Mark also gave us great beach and restaurant recommendations that we found very helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Delightful, exquisite stay at this cheerful property! Mark & Hillary are all that airbnb hosts should be - thoughtful, communicative, welcoming. Their impeccable eye for style is shown throughout this little home - even more inviting than the photos!
Loved our stay here, from the recommendations for local activities to the bottle of wine that welcomed us and the lovely touches throughout (L'Occitan bath goods - how lovely!)
Thank you for a wonderful stay - can't say enough good things about this vibrant and inviting space. Hope to be back!
This place is adorable! It's super clean, cheerful and comfortable. Hilary and Mark are great hosts and so welcoming. They made sure I had everything I needed and then even brought me juice, granola and fresh cut fruit for the morning! They let me borrow their bike - the peninsula is super bike-friendly and it was a perfect way to get around. You have your own gate to enter and exit and the neighborhood is charming... cute older houses adjacent to downtown. Downtown is a very quick walk down the street.
I rented Tropical chic for my parents who were visiting from Ireland. They absolutely adored the apartment! It was just as described and featured in the pictures. Hilary and Mark were wonderful hosts and made my parents feel very welcome and comfortable. They remarked on how cute and cozy the apartment was and they found the bed to be super comfortable. Hilary and Mark were friendly and helpful hosts, my parents thoroughly enjoyed their experience! I would definitely book this place again for visiting guests.
This sets a high bar for other AirB&B listings. The apartment was cozy and spotlessly clean. Lots of really nice touches, even beer in the fridge and a bottle of wine. Other hosts, take note! It was a short walk to downtown St Pete, lots of good restaurants and nightlife if you're into that. Great place to stay, all round.
About the Host, Tropical Chic Guest House
We love our hometown of St. Pete. Its beautiful and laid back. And we brought our Urban-Euro sensibility with us when we moved here from a major West Coast city several years ago.
Top five things we can't live without:
- coffee: great coffee at Kahwa
- warm weather
- great food
