Downtown St. Pete has it all. The pristine Gulf beaches are only a 15 minute car ride.

This is St. Pete. at its best!
No drugs, no smoking inside, no pets and please respect our lovely neighbors.
This sets a high bar for other AirB&B listings. The apartment was cozy and spotlessly clean. Lots of really nice touches, even beer in the fridge and a bottle of wine. Other hosts, take note! It was a short walk to downtown St Pete, lots of good restaurants and nightlife if you're into that. Great place to stay, all round.
We LOVED staying at the guest house (I dream of having one exactly like it above out garage), and if/when we return to St. Pete's we only hope it's not booked so we can stay there again! The guest provided for our every want, and the location was perfection - we walked everywhere all the weekend long. Our hosts were welcoming upon our arrival then let us go about our business. We hardly saw them - but our one run in was so pleasant and enjoyable.
Couldn't recommend this place more!
This is easily one of the most pleasant, cheerful, and relaxing spots I have stayed in. There isn't a thing we would change. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome and able to easily come and go as we pleased. Hilary was super responsive and friendly and they thought of everything - they even had our favorite illy coffee! The neighborhood was centrally located next to great restaurants and shops and we loved taking a walk every night and then spending time in the adorable garden patio in the backyard. We will be back!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse! We didn't want to leave! I could seriously live here. We love this area of St. Pete's and the hosts Hilary and Mark have really thought of everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable! We will be back!
In a word, WOW. This place was great! Light, airy, stylish, comfortable, romantic, perfect for two. If I could get away with just moving in permanently, I absolutely would. Part of me wants to give it a lousy review just to ensure it won't already be booked the next time I want to go! The hosts were lovely, the space was incredible, the location was perfect. Little touches--sunscreen, beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, wine, fruit in the fridge--made it even better. We will DEFINITELY be back!
Hillary and Mark are the best. We had a very busy weekend planned getting married in St. Pete and arrived to a bottle of champagne and tons of treats. Tropical Chic was the perfect place for my bridal party to get ready and relax. Hillary and Mark set the patio up for us to sit out on and enjoy, plus my flower girl loved playing with their daughter! The apartment is so amazing and I cannot wait to get my photographers pictures back, it was a gorgeous backdrop for the dress shots. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in St. Petersburg.
About the Host, Tropical Chic Guest House
We love our hometown of St. Pete. Its beautiful and laid back. And we brought our Urban-Euro sensibility with us when we moved here from a major West Coast city several years ago.
Top five things we can't live without:
- coffee: great coffee at Kahwa
- warm weather
- great food
