Hello!! We rent a double room in our flat, 10 minutes from "Plaza Cataluña", next to "calle Princesa", 2 minutes from the metro Jaume I. The floor is old but it has its charm. We are a girl, from Spain and a roommate from Argentina. It's rented another bedroom for 2 or 3 people in the flat. Smoking is allowed.
In the lounge, we have a balcony from you can enjoy the whole street because it's perpendicular. The floor is big, there is a living room. You can use the kitchen and there is a bathroom with shower.
It is located in a pedestrian street of "el Borne", one of the most emblematic neighbourhoods in Barcelona's old town, a walk that is mandatory for all the tourists in the city. Many activities in the Terminal, can be done: you can buy or eat, to go to museums or simply strolling through the city and discover the most traditional part. The floor is very central, it's located at 15 minutes walking from the beach of "la Barceloneta", 10 minutes from Plaça Catalunya, the famous Ramblas, the Parc of the Ciutadella, the Arc de Triomphe...
Strolling through its narrow streets, without fixed direction, finding different squares and charming places is a great pleasure. The Terminal, formerly known as La Ribera, is a neighborhood of much history in Barcelona, since it was created in the 10th century, Arab settlements, and then welcomed merchants, sailors, and nobles. One of the more popular and yet more special and Mystic of El Borne is the Church of Santa Maria del Mar, also known as the Cathedral of the sea. In addition, we have very close one of the most important Museum of Barcelona: the Picasso Museum.
If you want to take some "tapas" in the Borne, you will find a lot of places as you walk, especially in the surroundings of the "Paseo del Borne". In the walk of the terminal you will also find variety of bars, so it's a very good place to start the night.
The bedroom has double bed, it has high ceilings, it hasn´t window (without noise of the street) and the breakstast is included: milk, tea, infusions, cereals, cookies, bread, butter, fruit and juice.
Have a nice trip!
Respetar la propiedad.
Luisa is a true soul. The best feeling that one can have when he is on vacation is the feeling of being at home and this is what we felt in Luisa's home.
Luisa was very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay at her home. The location is ideal considering it is a short walk from the Rambles and 4 mins. from the Picasso Museum. Also worth noting is that there is a very yummy and cheap kabob shop just a few feet from the front door.
I would recommend this location to those who want an ideal location without breaking the bank who is either traveling alone or a significant other.
Fast answer, as advertised.
Good hearted people and very convenient.
Born is the best location fo stay in Barcelona. Luisa is helpful and very friendly person. It's uncomplicated und relexed atmosphere. The flat has its special very nice charm. The room is small and basic but you can use the common area which is very cosy. I liked it.
Small, but clean room located perfectly in El Born.
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Relaxed atmosphere.
Good for a stop over, or a few days sightseeing-trip.
