Un accogliente casetta, pulita ed essenziale! I proprietari sono stati cortesi e disponibili! Un ottimo soggiorno! Se dovessi ricapitare a Northampton sicuramente saprò dove tornare!
Great place. Super convenient location. All of Northamptom within walking distance.
Charming and efficient cottage in the perfect location. This one room unit is well designed and decorated with all the comforts of home. It has everything you need and the hosts are very accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Northampton.
Overall, I had a great stay. My host was there to greet me when I arrived from the airport which made me feel quite welcome. They were also very helpful with advice before my arrival and made it so simple to book without hassle. Overall, the space was lovely, quaint and cozy, just as pictured but I wasn't too crazy about the cabin being situated into what felt like a back alley (just my instinctual response). My only other issues were that I was only given one thin blanket on the bed, no bath mat for the cold tile floor, and no mat near the bed and it was extremely chilly in the cabin always unless I had the heater turned up for a while which I was not supposed to do for long because one of the house rules states that you are to leave the thermostat set to about 60 degrees. This is probably no problem in the Spring or Summer season, but when the weather is around 20-30 degrees outside (not to mention cold, wooden floors) and you are from the South, this is extremely discomforting. I booked this space because I found it charming and convenient to my 2 week training event because it was within about a 7 minute walking distance. I didn't care much for the very flimsy curtains because I felt as if they didn't provide much privacy and I had trouble sleeping pretty much the entire length of my stay. I will say that I expected to find more basic toiletry items (that you would expect to find at any bed & breakfast) as the hosts also run a bed & breakfast but only found a few shampoo items that another guest had left behind. I won't complain about the price because I cancelled another booking that was nearly half the price in favor of this cabin due to location, convenience, price, and the friendliness of the hostesses. The cabin was my #1 choice out of the very limited options at the time as I was pressed for time to find suitable, affordable, convenient lodgings and I did have the entire space to myself with a full kitchen and I saved a lot of money by having the ability to cook most of my own meals. That being said, I didn't buy a lot of groceries for the two weeks but I still ended up having too much food and never enough time to cook it so on that score I didn't save very much money on food. Not to be confusing, just trying to be truthful and transparent. Overall, I would most likely book this location again. Thanks ladies.
This listing was in a central area as described by the host, just a quick walk from the Calvin Theatre. It was also quite clean. However, the cabin was not super comfortable. The biggest downside was that the cabin was very bright due to flood lights positioned outside of the windows - flimsy sheer curtains did not block it. It was so bright that my husband and I were unable to sleep and decided not to stay the night. It seems overpriced unless location is your main focus.
I guess Kate and Brittni were having a very off day.
The place smelled of natural gas when I arrived. I called, I txted, I emailed and finally got a reply: check the heater. Well, the stove was actually left on.
I almost left and went to the Northhampton Hotel, and should have....
My feet kept getting wet - weird. Then I saw the spaces between the engineered hardwood and I realized there was a flood beneath the wood and the floor was coming apart.
