Thanks so much! We really enjoyed you two as guests. As far as guests go, you were very friendly and interested in so much, and spoke to us each day, which was nice, and also stayed out adventuring as much as possible, in order to maximize your vacation and see all that NY has to offer. Pretty much the perfect guests! We can't wait to come visit Seattle, to see your city. Thanks again!

Thanks for staying with us. Unfortunately, AirBnb will not come re-take the photos of our room, simply because we update the bedding and paint. The furniture, bed, books, and refrigerator are all the same and still there, and we've even added a new lamp which matches the bedding as well. The only thing we changed was to buy new sheets and duvet cover (as the previous set were 2 years old, and we wouldn't want guests to be upset with old bedding) and change the paint to match the new bedding.

We appreciate you choosing us to stay with. We like to remind people, just in case they haven't thought about it, that New York City and surrounding boroughs are the most populated cities in the U.S. If you're expecting a quiet and relaxing vacation, we recommend to choose somewhere other than New York. Flatbush, Brooklyn has a population density of 65,507 people per square mile. Manhattan's population density is 66,940 people per square mile. We unfortunately cannot control the noise level of such a densely populated city, and we do not think that it's fair for people to complain about something that we cannot control. We can only remind you that you you're visiting 'the city that never sleeps.' We do, however, have an air-conditioner in the room with a fan setting to provide white noise, in addition to a floor fan, if you need additional white noise, as well as ear plugs, if you're a light sleeper. One would hope that people who travel bring their own earplugs, especially when coming to a city with this many people, but just in case you forget them, we have some for you. Furthermore, our place is *right* next to the subway. This means that you exit the subway and you're pretty much home. You don't have to walk for 10 blocks after you're already tired from walking all day in New York and up and down subway stairs. Unfortunately, subway trains are not silent. But since we're on the top floor of the the building, you can hear the train less and distantly. It is considered actually *good* to live right next to the train, and rent is higher in these areas. For all future guests, please think about where you're traveling to before you commit. If peace and quiet is what you're looking for, book a vacation to somewhere in the countryside, not to the most populated city in the United States.
