Very easy and friendly check-in and check-out. The landlord is very easy to deal with. The property is exactly on the beach and I found the beach much more cute than that of South Beach. The building has a child playroom and there is big city's outdoor playground nearby.

We stayed at Castello for seven days in September/October. It’s a quirky, atmospheric place in a lovely location. We had a large group of friends, some with small children, and it suited us really well. The castle is on a working vineyard and elements of it are quite rustic but our group was very laidback and we had a great time. The booking process was smooth and although the manager was away during our stay, the farm manager who lives on site looked after us extremely well. On one night he cooked a four-course meal for us, which everyone enjoyed. There were indoor and outdoor dining spaces where the whole group (20 at one stage) could eat together, and a few different sitting areas. The bedrooms varied greatly in size, décor and facilities (some were quite luxurious, some had private kitchenettes and balconies, a couple had baths). Our group simply chose rooms on arrival and split the cost equally but others might want to sort this out differently. The pool was a beautiful spot to relax around, and the kids loved it. They also loved walking through the vineyard and the fruit trees, and patting the castle cat. M. S. S. was only a five-minute drive away so we took the kids in to use the playground a few times. It’s a nice little historic town to wander through and stop for coffee, as well as picking up supplies. We also did easy day trips into beautiful Siena and San Gimignano from the castle.
My best friend and I had a lovely stay at Giada's Relais. It is a beautiful facility and the staff were all wonderful. We did not have a car and they went out of their way to help us get around. The apartment and setting were beautiful - very peaceful yet at the same time in close proximity to Siena. The food was incredible - Angelica is a phenomenal cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.
I rented the Castle for my 40th and invited a bunch a friends. We slept 26 comfortably. The villa was just perfect, isolated, beautiful out in nature. The pool was amazing and the villa itself really nice, very stylish and comfy. Everyone felt at home immediately. We planned to visit Sienna and surrounding places but we all ended up hanging out at the villa. The care taker was lovely - although not always around we struggled to find outdoor light switches for my b'day night by the pool. However they somehow came on for a good couple of hours.
Directions to the castle could have been clearer all 26 people got lost on the way in! But all part of the adventure. Head for Ciggiano and turn into Dell'esse. Thats the name of the road.
Myself , I will be back maybe to run a retreat. It's perfect !
Everything was fantastic.
I was not satisfied with the accommodation. Giada explicitly stated that there is wifi inside the apartment. There is no connectivity available unless you are standing right by reception. There is absolutely no signal in the apartment. I explicitly asked for a tv. There is a computer monitor type of tv, but it is not working. The living space is tiny and has no sofa. After touring the property i realize that other units are much bigger and spacious. I have asked bruno( the manager) politely for 3 days to move us. But he did not offer a bigger room until the last night. He could have moved us on Saturday when new guests checked in but he chose not to.
Although the grounds and location are good the room was not worth 367 euros per night. I think airbnb needs to do a better job representing the properties it offers. I feel mislead and cheated. I will not be using airbnb again and would dissuade others from using it as well.
