Our apartment is the ideal place to experience the charm of Ann Arbor. Centrally located in the Germantown neighborhood we're only a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Main Street or a 10 minute stroll to the University of Michigan's campus. And come game day we're just a 10 minute walk to the Big House!
Our first floor apartment has the charms of original hardwood floors and fittings with the convenience of a newly remodeled kitchen and speedy wi-fi. We're discovering our Michigan green thumbs, so feel to enjoy our sprouting gardens on our front or back porches. The bedroom has great natural light to start your day and a new Sealy mattress for the day's end. We provide fresh towels and sheets for every guest. We hope you'll feel at home.
If you're driving to Ann Arbor, we have free parking directly behind the house or if you're flying in we're a 5 minute walk from the Blake Transit Center where the Michigan Flyer drops off passengers from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
During your visit, we recommend grabbing a locally brewed pint at Jolly Pumpkin before catching an art flick at the historic Michigan Theater. Or if you're here on a Saturday the Kerrytown farmer's market is not to be missed and an easy walk up 4th Ave.
Before moving to Ann Arbor for work and graduate school, we loved staying with Airbnb hosts as a way to discover local secrets in the heart of the city. So we'd love to pay it forward and share the best Ann Arbor has to offer with you. We can’t wait to share our home with you!
Looking forward to having you at our place!

My husband, Josh, and I (who are also Airbnb hosts) stayed at Rowena and Luke's home during a four day trip to Ann Arbor. Our stay at their home did not begin well. We had told Rowena we would be arriving around 1:30pm; however, she said that she couldn't meet us until 2:30pm to let us into her home. She suggested we store our bags in their shed until that time. When we arrived, her husband Luke was at home and he seemed surprised to see us despite our communication with Rowena. He let us into the house, but he did not offer to help us with our bags (which was upsetting since my husband had his arm in a sling at the time to due a shoulder injury and I had to carry all the bags).
When we arrived back at the house that night, Rowena greeted us and showed us around the house. She was friendly, though we did not feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, their home was not a "safe space" to relax during our trip, and we would suggest that others consider this before their visit.
