Frances and Rupert were very hospitable, helpful and personable hosts who made us feel very welcome. The Manor House was a lovely alternative to a 'standard hotel' and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Staying here was a delightful experience. The house is larger than usual. Our room was very comfortable and quiet and our bathroom was a delightful size with both bath and separate shower. As the bathroom was not an ensuite we were grateful that bathrobes were supplied. The hosts were helpful, and pleasant company. Their dog Fred loves company but is very well behaved.
We loved our stay with Frances and Rupert, the house and its location are beautiful, the hosts a delight and very interesting to talk to, and we hope to visit again!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our too brief stay with Frances and Rupert. We were made to feel very welcome in their gracious house, and were very comfortable in the White Room. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to go back.
We absolutely loved staying at the Manor House. Frances and Rupert were charming hosts who made us feel at home from the very moment we walked inside. Guests have ample places to relax- in the conservatory, the sitting room or the garden. It is a haven with beautiful views all around. I could have stayed for several days. Their dog helps look after guests and kept us thoroughly entertained. This was our best airbnb experience so far.. well worth the extra cost...amazing value for money !!
Frances and Rupert's house and gardens are so lovely and homey and F and P make you feel immediately welcome. Comfy bed with crisp white sheets and fantastic walk in shower in private bathroom a few feet away. We all had breakfast together and it was like staying with old friends. A shame we could only stay one night. We shall definitely stay with them next time we're in the area.
Beautiful house and lovely hosts!
It has been a lovely short stay. The premises are well kept and the friendliness of Frances, Rupert and their dog Freddy made our stay pleasent and welcoming.
The Mansion is located very close to Cambridge, a pub around the corner if you don´t feel going to town. The room was tidy and well decorated. We would recommend the Mansion to anyone travelling to Cambridge
Our stay at the Manor House was absolutely perfect in every way.
Frances and Rupert were amazing hosts and really looked after us, it felt like we were really staying at a home from home. It was a lovely treat to be able to enjoy a bottle of wine in their gorgeous conservatory after a long day exploring Cambridge (which was very easy to get to by bus and a return trip by taxi was only £14).
Freddie was one of the friendliest dogs I've ever met and was a joy to have around! Breakfast was also just right - we very much enjoyed chatting to Frances and Rupert over a coffee and Rupert even gave us a full tour of the house and grounds before we left.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay in this beautiful, peaceful house again :-)
My mother and I had a wonderful time with Frances, Rupert and their lovely dog Freddy. They were very kind and hospitable. It is a beautiful old manor house.
We had a lovely bedroom and a luxurios bathroom.
In the morning we had a nice breakfast including home made jam.
When we return to this part of the UK we will most certainly go back there.
