Maureen was a fantastic host. She was extremely helpful and very welcoming. The house was in a lovely quiet area and very spacious, being close to many things.
Facilities are really good and location was really handy for me on the outskirts of Stratford. I didn't meet Maureen as she was away - her son was there who I didn't see much but he was perfectly hospitable.
Hi Emma thanks for you comments and I hope you enjoyed your stay. In my e mail to you on 8 June, I did say that I was probably not going to be here when you arrived and that my son would be around. Its very unusual for me not to be here but otherwise we would have had to cancel. Hope that's ok. Kind regards.
I had a lovely stay at Maureen's! The accommodation is private and incredibly spacious - I had a room, sitting room and bathroom to myself, which I really appreciated. It's comfortable, clean, quiet and excellent value for money.
Maureen was a great host and made me feel really welcome. Helped with my transportation to and from the station and centre of town. The room was comfortable and just as described. I would gladly stay here again.
This was a great place to stay. It's nice to have a living room to spread out in, the bed is comfy and Maureen is very friendly and welcoming. She struck the exact right balance between chatting and leaving me to my own devices. She was also kind enough to pick me up from the station when I arrived. The house is an easy walk from Stratford past a big shopping centre with a 24 hour Tesco and other useful shops. The only drawback was that the bedroom, bathroom and living room are all very cold. There is a small heater provided but that can only hear one room at a time, and the bathroom was always freezing when getting in or out of the shower.
