HOUSE RULE #1:
If you obey all the rules you miss all the fun; leave no trace.
Hello, My photographer + his assistant loved staying at the apartment ! It was very big, and the perfect location in Williamsburg. Would love to have them stay again, thank you for everything :)
We, a family of four, rented Mac's apartment over a long weekend. The apartment was great, just like in the pictures. We found the neighbourhood really nice with a lot of cozy restaurants. We did not meet Mac but got all the help we needed from June.
We would definitely come back!
I was corresponded with both Mac and his neighbor June. Check in was easy June's was a doll. Macs loft looks just like the pictures. His art, objects d'art and art books were great. The location was fabulous. Great mexican food down the street on Berry. Pies and thighs had outrageous food...southern cuisine. Also went to Pete Lugers for steak. The Brooklyn Museum had a wonderful art collection. Coffee maker was in apartment towels were great. When there was any problem June was so helpful. I felt very safe and secure both in the loft and in the neighborhood. Would come again!
Mac's place was amazing and centrally located.
June his neighbour passed the keys over to me and was easy to reach and was lovely.
The whole process of checking in, communicating and checking out was seamless.
I would love to re-book the next time I'm in Williamsburg.
The apartment was stunning, exactly as advertised. Mac's lovely neighbour June welcomed us and provided us with a lot of great tips for what to do and see in the city. The neighbourhood was fantastic, with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops right around the corner. A nice 15 min walk to 2 different subway lines. We had a great stay, thanks for having us!
We had a lovely stay in Mac's apartment. The house is cozy and comfortable and has a lot of nice resaurants nearby and two subway stations. Mac wasn't there but June, his neighbor, has been extremly kind and nice and helped us with our missing luggages.
I would definitely advice Mac's home to all of my friends.
We were welcomed by the Host's representative, who also checked us out and ordered a taxi to the airport for us - very helpful. The flat is light, airy and warm. It is a 15 minute walk to the nearest subway at Bedford, and there is a really good food market just off Bedford Av which is handy when walking back after a long day. There's plenty of hot water, and a large dining table in the kitchen area for those who like to eat in occasionally and comfortable beds (one is a bit creaky). We were delighted with the apartment and enjoyed our stay there.
There are people that live in New York and then there are New Yorkers. Fun and friendly, worldly and wise, native New Yorkers don't just point out things to see, they help you experience them. There are cities in the world that are richer, cleaner and more beautiful but none with as much heart and citizens as hearty. The real charm of New York can't be found in a guide book or delivered from a transplant; the real charm lies in the soul of the natives. Pick your host like you pick your fruit: local and organic.
