Great stay in Rome. Francesca and her daughter were very accommodating as our plane was delayed. They waited for a few hours to let us in the apartment, which was much appreciated!
The apartments look just like the photos, only better. It is a charming neighborhood and the apartment has everything you could think of. The location is great if you are looking for a more local feel but it is quite a distance from the tourist locations (probably 30 minute plus walk to most areas). If you plan to see the city, I would get familiar with the bus routes as they run very frequently.
I was very pleased with the apartment and hope to go back soon. Also - the restaurant La Romanina is great and right around the corner! Order the pizza! :)
Our experience in Rome could not have been better!! This apartment is a little gem, in a beautiful part of town. Fully updated, just as you see it in the pictures. Eleonora is so amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. She waiting for us until our arrival (which was late!) and was always available to answer any questions that we had. She even helped us with booking the taxi for our way back. Amazing experience in this apartment. It was so clean! You felt like you were staying at a 5 star hotel, yet you had the comforts of an apartment. The apartment is huge too! It has two A/C systems, and the room was so cozy it was hard to wake up. I could not have asked for a better accommodation and host in this city. We had a Gelato spot right in front of the plaza which became a mandatory stop every day we were there, which added to the amazingness of this location. Very conveniently located close to busses, but we decided to walk most of the days and was a lovely walk to all the tourist places. Amazing!!!! One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had.
We had a great stay! The apartment was very cute and clean and had everything we needed. Located in a great neighborhood, about 15-20 minute walk to city center and attractions, we got to experience a more local feel and try local restaurants which were amazing! Other than that everything was very nice and we'd love to return!
Francesca was very prompt and thorough in communicating. Our flight into Rome landed close to midnight so Francesca arranged for her daughter to pick us up from the airport (for about the price of a cab). The apartment is a bit removed from the historic center of the city, but is relatively accessible by a little walking and a few transit lines - though it should be noted that certain bus lines seem to run rather unpredictably or infrequent.
The apartment itself is spacious and gets a nice amount of natural light, which is always a plus. It is well equipped and includes a small balcony which, for us, came in handy drying a couple loads of laundry.
Overall, a nice place to stay if you don't mind a bit of a journey into the city center and/ or you want a very quiet place away from the crowds.
we were lucky to find this beautiful appartment. it was very nice and clean, very generously aquiped with everything we needed, Francesca and her daughter Eleonora were so nice and welcoming, Eleonora came to meet us at the appartment just on time, she explained us about the city and was very patient and willing to answer any question, we also found many city guides in the appartment. there is no doubt that in our next visit to Rome we will come back to this appartment.
We booked Francesca's apartment 3 days before arrival and everything was prepared perfectly and in time. We had a bit problem with finding it, but her daughter Eleonora helped us via phone and even met us by car.
Apartment is exactly as it's showed on photos, very cosy, felt like home. Eleonora showed it, and even prepared coffe and cakes for the next morning, she was really kind to us.
Location is quite, but the same time not far away from center (15 min to Piazza del Popolo).
Summarizing our trip, it was great and if you're going to Rome, I would highly reccomend this apartment!
The apartment was very well furnished, comfortable and clean. It was nice to find coffee, tea, cookies and other usefull things in the apartment.
Francesca and her daughter Martina responded our e-mails and messages always very quickly. They are very nice people!
Everything was perfect! Next time we go to Rome we would like to stay here again. We can highly recommend this apartment.
Lovely stay at this apartment! As our flight was early and we reached at around 9.45am, Francesca very kindly let us check in earlier as there was no prior reservation before us so there was no need to clean up.
The moment we arrive, her daughter, Eleonora was very there to pass us the keys and she was very friendly. She gave us directions and tips on where to go as well. Whatever questions we have she could help us, so that's a plus point! Also, we needed a taxi on the last day for us to go to Roma Termini, in which Eleonora kindly helped us book.
The apartment is lovely except that the hot water in the bathroom goes cold after a while but it just takes a little effort to experiment and we knew how to work around it.
The tram number 2 is about 15 minutes walk so it depends on whether you are someone who likes to walk or not. From the tram, it takes about 4 stops to reach Piazzale Flaminio where Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon are walkable. It's alot of walking but my boyfriend and I both love to walk, so it's fine with us. It's just that at the end of the day after much walking, we still have to walk 15 minutes back to the apartment, in which we will take a slow walk and enjoy the weather. It's autumn so it was rather cooling.
Overall, we love the stay and we highly recommend it!
We stayed at the apartment from the 12th of OCT 'till the 16th.
Francesca's daughter waited for us in the apartment, showed us everything and explained to us everything we needed to know and the apartment and the location around.
The apartment is surly nice, IKEA apartment. very modern, clean and comfortable.
The apartment has everything you need to make your own food (Breakfast, lunch, Dinner) although we didn't use that option is was there.
Francesca also have very useful information in the apartment from local food order, Taxi company phone number to Tourists locations brochures.
Was very useful to us! :)
There's a washing machine and an Iron.
Also very helpful and useful... we used both.
We weren't so lucky with the hot water stream.
The stream was weak, but weren't so bad, We think the low stream is Roma problem and not specific apartment problem.
Free and full Signal WiFi which is great and important.
The WiFi is limited for 500MB per day, which isn't bad but watch some streaming movies and YouTube and you'll find yourself with very slow internet.
But after the first day we learned how to use it smartly.
The location of the apartment is very good.
20 min walk from "Piazza Del Popolo" which is the heart of the center.
The building is also very nice, clean and nice neighbors.
To summarize, We had a very good time.
Francesca and her Daughter were very nice and helpful.
We sure recommend the apartment!
