A small, renovated house of about 45 m² in our natural garden with separate access, located in a quiet side street. We have done our best to create a cozy place for individualists. And to design it the way we would like to find a place (but have never experienced it).

The space
A small, renovated house of about 45 m² in our natural garden with separate access, located in a quiet side street. We have made an effort to create a cozy place for individualists who do not want to live in grandma's furniture.
Smokers should definitely use the seating area in front of the house (only non-smokers are desired in the house), a bistro table with chairs, or the bench under the rose hedge in front of the apple tree.
The bedroom is equipped with a large double bed (180x200), a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers and laundry boxes.
In the living room there is a wide sofa, a reading chair and a folding table with two comfortable chairs. Storage is available here on a large shelf and a sideboard. Several lamps and candle holders offer the possibility for individual, atmospheric lighting. TV and wifi (very fast internet) can be used. A radio with CD player can be provided upon request.
Kitchen and bathroom are small, but contain everything you need: stove and fridge with freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, extractor and small appliances. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet and towel warmer.
Bedding, table linens and towels are provided; on request we can provide mite bedding for house dust allergy sufferers (€10 extra, free after a week) and take out the carpets.
The cottage is unfortunately not accessible. At the entrance to the garden there are three steps, the shower cup is relatively high and access to the bathroom is not possible with a wheelchair (too narrow).
Behind the house is a storage facility for bicycles in the lockable annex.
Parking: in the neighboring supermarket parking lot, unloading in front of the house.
Nearby are a supermarket, two bakers, beverage market, doctors, pharmacy, the bus stop, all no further than 100 m away. Other supermarkets, discount stores and drugstores can be found within a kilometer.
Downtown is 1.3 km away, the ZOB 1.4 km, the train station 1.1 km. The two rehab clinics are also easy to reach: Klinik Föhrenkamp 1.9 km, Klinik Hellbachtal 1.2 km.

Where you’ll be

Mölln, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany

Holiday cottage in the Kneipp spa town of Mölln, surrounded by lakes and beech forests, amidst the glacial landscape of the Eastern Hills in the Duchy of Lauenburg. An environment that invites you to countless hikes and walks, to bike tours and excursions on the water.
The core of the city was built in the Middle Ages around the Kirchberg, which is crowned by the Romanesque Nikolai Church, where the tombstone Till Eulenspiegel, the Schalksnarren, is located, whose traces can apparently still be found in urban politics today. In the old town there are still many well-preserved medieval brick buildings.
Four Hanseatic cities can be easily reached by car, train and bus: Lübeck, Hamburg, Lüneburg and Wismar. The Baltic Sea is not too far away either.
In the region there are many farm shops, farmers' cafes and idyllic excursion destinations.
In spring you can drive through fragrant rapeseed fields and blooming chestnut trees, watch the waterfowl breeding and - if you are lucky - discover a white-tailed eagle in the nearby Hellbach Valley. If you want to experience early bloomers, you can find forests here, where the soil is dotted with bushes, key flowers, scabbardwort and violets.
Summer offers the opportunity to cool off in the natural swimming pool and in many lakes in the area. And on one of the walks you might meet the Nandus, who are free on the fields.
In autumn the forests are full of tree fruits, on the nearby Mechov Lake the water birds gather for departure and on the fields you can observe cranes. When they leave, they are easily recognizable by their melodic calls.
Winter is the time of tranquillity, frozen lakes and Christmas markets in the towns and mansions of the area.
