About this listing
I'm renting out my lovely 2 room apartment with a lofty feeling.
There's a big bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm) and a living room with an open kitchen and access to the balcony. There's a couch where it's possible to sleep when the bag pillows are removed. I also have a double airbed if you're into that.
The kitchen and the bathroom are new (spring 2012) and there's a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The balcony is app. 5 m2 and is turning towards south - when there's sun there will be sun from morning to evening:-)
It's a quit area - but in the school period there's a lot of kids in the backyard where the balcony is turning towards the schoolyard - but it doesn't bother me and it's only from 8-15 am.
The apartment is situated in the popular part of Østerbro in Copenhagen and there's a 10 min. walk to the nearest big train station (Østerport st.) and different bus lines. It's a very calm neighborhood and it's easy to get to Amager, inner city, Nørrebro and Vesterbro.
It's very close to Langelinie and the little mermaid if that is in your interest. It's also very close to the small lakes in the middle of the city with a lot of benches to drink a cup of coffee or eating some ice cream. And a lot of joggers as well.
In Østerbro there's a lot of small cafés and restaurants - there's also bars, however it's not the typical place to go out to party hard. But I know some places I can recommend ;-)
There's also a very nice public indoor swimming pool and spa in the area as well as parks and other green areas. There's also a new build beach not so fare away and the National gallery of Denmark (SMK) is also very close.
It's possible to plug-in your iPod to my amplifier and there's a TV as well.
It has to be quit in the building at 23:00 - but you don't have to be whispering and stuff like that - just turn down the music and don't throw parties:-)
Smoking is outside at the balcony
You have to pay for parking your car ( 11kr pr. hour a day 3 kr pr. hour at night)
Lovely host! Anytime!
Pro: apt was really clean
Con: there is not bus/metro station just round the corner. You have to walk 5 mins
This was a great place to stay in Copenhagen. Although I didn't meet Mette in person she was very accommodating and extremely good at responding quickly to my messages. It was very easy to feel relaxed and comfortable at her place. The area was quiet, but relatively close to a lot of things, Metro station, shopping, restaurants, and some sights. Most things in the vicinity were 10 to 15 minutes walk. Her place as advertised was very clean, bright and sunny. Tea and Coffee were available upon arrival. I would highly recommend Mette's place to anyone thinking about staying in Copenhagen. It's ideal for a single traveler or a couple.
Everything was excellent! Beginning with very fast response to our mails and questions, continuing with the warm welcome and finishing with a clean and cosy flat;-)
Once again thank you a lot!!!!
to make it short: A fantastic Place in Copenhagen. Apartment was quite nice and absolute clean. For 2 Persons a perfect place to discover the city. The Owner did everything fine. We had a fantastic time at this place. I just have to recommend this place to everyone.
Cosy apartment in quiet location, excellently equipped and very clean. The host very kindly supported us in accommodating our baby girl. Communication, move in and out was great and uncomplicated even without ever meeting in person. Highly recommended!
Mette is easy to coordinate with and her place is nice. It has everything you'd need. It is located in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood, but there is nightlife nearby if you want that. The center of Copenhagen is a nice 25-30min walk, or a quick bus ride away.
Mette's apartment was awesome! Tons of character and the perfect size for a couple. She was really nice and helpful and the place was in a great, convenient location. The bed was comfy and she left us coffee and a few beers and snacks. :) loved Copenhagen. Thanks, Mette!
