I'm renting out my lovely 2 room apartment with a lofty feeling.
There's a big bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm) and a living room with an open kitchen and access to the balcony. There's a couch where it's possible to sleep when the bag pillows are removed. I also have a double airbed if you're into that.
The kitchen and the bathroom are new (spring 2012) and there's a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The balcony is app. 5 m2 and is turning towards south - when there's sun there will be sun from morning to evening:-)
It's a quit area - but in the school period there's a lot of kids in the backyard where the balcony is turning towards the schoolyard - but it doesn't bother me and it's only from 8-15 am.
The apartment is situated in the popular part of Østerbro in Copenhagen and there's a 10 min. walk to the nearest big train station (Østerport st.) and different bus lines. It's a very calm neighborhood and it's easy to get to Amager, inner city, Nørrebro and Vesterbro.
It's very close to Langelinie and the little mermaid if that is in your interest. It's also very close to the small lakes in the middle of the city with a lot of benches to drink a cup of coffee or eating some ice cream. And a lot of joggers as well.
In Østerbro there's a lot of small cafés and restaurants - there's also bars, however it's not the typical place to go out to party hard. But I know some places I can recommend ;-)
There's also a very nice public indoor swimming pool and spa in the area as well as parks and other green areas. There's also a new build beach not so fare away and the National gallery of Denmark (SMK) is also very close.
It's possible to plug-in your iPod to my amplifier and there's a TV as well.
It has to be quit in the building at 23:00 - but you don't have to be whispering and stuff like that - just turn down the music and don't throw parties:-)
Smoking is outside at the balcony
You have to pay for parking your car ( 11kr pr. hour a day 3 kr pr. hour at night)
Det er en rigtig fin og hyggelig lejlighed. Alt hvad vi havde brug for var til rådighed
Mette is a very nice and helpful host. She even gave us useful tipps for the city and a map and organised the handover of the keys perfectly and was very flexible with our check in and check out. We can highly recommend her little cosy and clean apartment, which offered everything we needed for our weekend stay. Thanks, Mette for a wonderful time in Copenhagen!
Mette's appartment was really nice and cosy. Everything that is on the description is there.
She made our arrival very easy and we had really nice vacations in copenhaguen ! To recommend...
Mette's apartment met our needs very well when visiting our son who lives very near by in an equally compact apartment. Mette was helpful and easy to deal with, she made cupboard space and left hangers for our clothes, the kitchen was small but adequate having a full sized cooker and large fridge in which Mette had once again made space for us. the shower room with toilet and basin was small but very nicely appointed. The balcony is a delight, catching the sun for most of the day, sadly the school yard below was a bit noisy... we would happily use the apartment again.
I had a really good stay at Mette's place, Mette was very helpful and fast reacting on my many questions, i absolutely recommend the apartment.
Really cosy and perfectly clean apartment, with a beautiful balcony in a nice neighborhood - I can defiantly recommend it. Mette was a friendly and helpful host and is very easy to communicate with.
Open and happy person. I'm using the city for art, movies, music, people, streetparties etc.
I've been travelling in Cuba, Russia, USA, UK, France, Oman, Tunesia, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Holland, Thailand, Faroe Islands, Switzerland.
I'm dreaming of Alaska and Aruba at the moment, however my next holiday is going to Lyon visiting my sister.
