Escape to a hand-crafted sanctuary nestled among towering Ponderosa pines. This exclusive tiny-home-treehouse, meticulously designed over two and a half years, features a majestic tree, aptly named Mondo Pondo, that gracefully intersects the living space, blurring the line between indoors and out. Bathed in natural light, the space creates a cozy and clean ambiance, inviting you to unwind and reconnect with nature. Perfect for romantic retreats or a serene escape from the ordinary.
The space
Located on 8 acres of forest, and isolated from the rest of the world, you'll be invited to commune with nature. Guests are welcome to soak in the hot tub located a short walk from the treehouse, or explore the walking paths around the property. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also climb up into the "lookout treehouse" for a panoramic view through the trees. Because so many creatures call the property home, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home. So as to not disturb the natural balance of things up here.
Guest access
The entire home is yours to enjoy. We do just ask that you leave my son's bedroom undisturbed, but feel free to climb around and through the entire treehouse as it was meant to feel like a jungle gym and reawaken your inner-child!

Seasonal Access: During the winter and early spring months, accessing the treehouse often requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle and snow chains due to snowy and muddy conditions. However, the drive is much easier to navigate during the rest of the year. Please plan accordingly to ensure a safe and smooth arrival.
Unique Layout: This is a small but tall space, featuring unconventional stairs. While the handrails make it easier to navigate, we recommend all guests move slowly and thoughtfully when using them. Please take care as you enjoy your stay!
Full Kitchen: The treehouse boasts a full kitchen minus a full-size oven, making it perfect for preparing meals. It includes a small toaster oven for baking, stovetop, refrigerator, slow cooker and all the essentials to whip up a cozy meal or enjoy your morning coffee.
Immersive Features: Enjoy built-in speaker zones throughout the treehouse, creating the perfect soundtrack for your stay. Hidden LED lighting adds to the charm, offering adjustable ambiance for relaxation or creating a magical atmosphere.
