Our hilltop property overlooks Emigrant Lake, offering stunning views of the surrounding valley. An easy 20 minute drive into Ashland gets you the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, bike and hiking trails, great restaurants, galleries, & wineries.
The Glamping Dome affords stunning views of the sunset and stars. It is equipped with a queen-size Sleep Number bed, and our 2-stall, odor-free composting outhouse and sink is just a few steps away. Other amenities include a hot tub, cedar sauna, & shower.

The space
The journey to our hilltop retreat ends with a 3/4 mile drive up a gravel driveway, which is fine for most cars (we drive our Chevy Bolt up and down every day, for instance), but may be tough for cars with very low ground clearance.

Guest access
Area around Dome and Privy, Infinity Patio (great for sunsets and stargazing!), hot tub, sauna and shower areas in back of the house

Other things to note
On summer days, the dome does get direct sun during the afternoon and early evening, so it can get quite hot! It is well-ventilated, has a screen door and fans, so it cools off pretty quickly once the sun goes down.
On very hot days, you may want to have dinner in town before arriving.

During the winter months, we have a small propane heater in the dome, but it will still be chilly on cold nights, especially when it's below 40 degrees. We have thick cozy blankets on the bed, and you are welcome to bring sleeping bags or more blankets to keep warm. Unfortunately electric heaters would overload our solar-powered system.

Please check the weather forecast, including overnight temperatures, so you can be prepared. We are at about 400ft higher elevation than Ashland which means we might get a little more snow at times, but the temperature ranges are similar. Refunds for weather cannot be given, unless the driveway is impassable due to heavy snow (which is very unusual).
