Private room (with attached, private bathroom) in spacious apartment, located in beautiful, quiet neighborhood! Looking for long-term renter, over 30 days minimum. Close to Santa Monica/Venice border, it's 5 blocks to Main Street, 6 blocks to the beach and under 2 miles to the Pier, 3rd St. Promenade and Abbot Kinney.
Highlights include a peaceful, sheltered garden/patio in the back, piano and a comfy reading chair in living room, smart 24" tv in bedroom connected to high-speed fiber-optic internet. Very open and airy!
The building is older, so you won't find the newest fixtures, etc. The plus side is the size of the room, the private bathroom and location!
There is only myself and my rabbit Hip Hop living here - he is indoor/outdoor and is very clean and well-mannered :) The back patio door is usually open for him, but the neighborhood is very safe and there has never been a break-in here.
There's a Keurig coffee maker, and for long-term renters extra perks such as a spare bike and bike lock to use for occasional/local use.
Half a block away is a public tennis court (I have extra racquets and balls) and two parks within two blocks. The kitchen and all dishes/cooking gear are yours to share (walking distance to the Sunday Farmer's Market or natural foods market, both on Main Street), towels/linens and other basic amenities included.
Interaction with guests
I love my home and neighborhood, and am sure you will too! I'm at work during the weekdays, but if home weeknights or weekends I'm always more than happy to socialize, but of course have respect for each other's space. Only wanting good energy!
No smoking inside, back patio OK. Please no guests or late nights in common areas without us previously discussing... Thanks!

I'm a native of Los Angeles and have been living in this Santa Monica apartment for a total of 11 years. I have my family close by, I bike to work and enjoy a simple life :)
