Interaction with Guests
After check in, your on your own. I live nearby if you have any needs unmet.
There is SO MUCH to love about Silver street. The tree lined boulevard, the friendly walkers and joggers, eclectic gardens and historic homes. The best restaurants are within a ten minute stroll and hundreds of food choices are within a 15 minute walk. Your two blocks from the main University of New Mexico campus. The young energy is infectious! I'm not a fan of driving, and there is no need to have a car because there is so much to do within the public transportation sector. If you do drive, the ramp to the freeway is four blocks to the West. Museums, parks, Popejoy Performance Hall, Zinc Wine Bar and Jazz Venue, street cafés, Guild Cinema and the list goes on....
The Rapid Ride comes by every 8 minutes on Central Avenue (Route 66) and it cost $1

The house and stay were incredible. Douglas was a great host. He is very friendly and professional. He did a great job with the renovation of the house. We used the home for a small get together and the house was equipped to meet all our needs. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was clean, charming, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The location is central and very convenient to downtown, freeways, UNM, and restaurants. Doug is friendly and responsible and answered all our inquiries promptly. Would stay here again.
Douglas was fantastic! We had a couple special request that Douglas took care of for us before we arrived. The house was exactly as described, high quality, new furniture, and from someone who lives in Albuquerque, I can verify this house is in a very nice and popular neighborhood, close to every type of restaurant and entertainment you could ask for. We will absolutely be using Douglas and this home again :)
Douglas was a very gracious and accommodating host. He provided helpful instruction, made sure there was plenty of towels, and checked on me periodically to make sure things were going well. The property is gorgeous and was an excellent venue for a holiday gathering with family. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to rent a centrally located Albuquerque property.
This is a great place! The bungalow was in perfect conditions. It was clean, very well maintained and had a great location, specially if you have to attend an event in downtown Albuquerque or the University of New Mexico. I shared the bungalow with two friends and we had enough space to feel very comfortable. Douglas was a very friendly host. He was always available if we had any questions or concerns. We definitely felt like at home!

About the Host, Douglas
I am Doug. Albuquerque is like no other USA city. That is why I love living here. And I love the vacation rental business. Each one of my properties are like my children. They are all unique and I treat them with love and respect and want to attract other folks to do the same.
I love to travel both in the US and abroad. My favorite trips were to Greece where I spent many summers motorcycling all over the countryside and taking ferries to the numerous islands. It was so beautiful. I also LOVE Barcellona. The night life is fabulous!
