About this listing
We offer an Individual room near Plaza España (5 minutes walking), Magic Fountains of Montjuic, Park Montjuic and all of its museums, gardens, Olympic Stadium, Fortress and many other sites of interest.
The room is small, but well organized with a tall bunk bed beneath which you will find a desk and place to hang/organize your cloths. The bed measures 90cm by 200cm so it is quite long for a single bed (and comfortable as well). Again, yes the room is small but my boyfriend and I love hosting so I'm sure you will enjoy your stay!! And you can't beat our views from our balcony!
Near several lines of transport including Barcelona Sants Station, Metro lines 1 and 3, Aerobus (easy transport to the main airport, El Prat), Barcelona City Tour (bus that takes you on a tour of the city's many touristic attractions), and numerous other bus lines.
Walking distance to La Rambla and the old center of town or a quick trip on the metro ( 3 stops)
Charming early 20th century flat with lots of natural sunlight.
Lovely view of the city and Park Collserola with its emblematic Tibidabo and Church, Temple de Sagrat Cor.
We are also near numerous supermarkets, some of which are open 24 hours a day as well as several bars and restaurants. You will find all kinds of shopping possibilities near by such as Arenas (old bull fighting arena turned into a shopping mall), and the Hostafrancs market (traditional Catalan market selling fresh produce, meats, fish, local specialities, etc.)
You will have your own single bedroom (interior, but we are up quite high so the room does get some light) and may use the whole house (kitchen, living room and shared bathroom).
WE ALSO HAVE TWO OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR RENT IN OUR FLAT:
We are a young, friendly, non-smoking house and look forward to meeting you!

The place is well located, the low cost also reflects the fact that the room rented is extremely small and the whole flat is old. Two points have to been made regarding the ad: in first place the ad is posted as Mary who is no longer there neither I guess running the rental anymore , in second place I was not able to enter my room until 3.30 pm, that limitation should be clearly stated in the ad as I had to wait from 11 am to 3.30 pm.
Starsky a été serviable et disponible durant mon séjour, la chambre était propre et confortable et la location idéale. Il a su me donner toutes les informations nécessaires durant mon voyage.
Lovely authentic flat in a stunning building. Beautiful views from a small balcony in the living room. Aspect is east/west, so sunny all afternoon. The room was as described - small, but perfectly adequate and great value. Due to the heat, all windows and doors were open, so quite a bit of traffic noise in the day, but you don't go to central Barcelona if you want tranquility! Starsky was friendly and welcoming, but left me to get on with it, which is exactly what I wanted. I'll certainly recommend to friends and will return there for longer next time.
Starsky's house was located perfect area to go to metro or airport.
You can reach metro station (Espana) within 5min by walking, Airport bus station (#46) 10min by walking.
But the room was small and dark, no mirror at inside. If you close the door, room was very hot. It's safe and convenient area, but reasonable price.
El anfitrión fue amable, me informó de las normas de uso de la casa y me dio confianza y libertad para usar la cocina, el salón, etc.
This particular offer was my second ever experience with Airbnb. The flat was spacious and comfortable. It may be a bit difficult to find the flat to travellers being first time in Barcelona (as I was), but the information provided by Starsky was much more than helpful - I had absolutely no trouble finding it. The flat itself is situated on a busy avenue, however the noise was surprisingly low during nights. I was aware of having a small room, which could be an issue for some people, but it had fully suited all my needs and it even fitted my expectations as a single traveller. The flat has available all appliances that people might need. A supermarket and a restaurant/bar are located within three minutes of walking. Plaza Espanya is less than 10 minutes away, giving travellers opportunities to travel in any direction within the city.
And since this flat is shared with other Airbnbers, it offers a great opportunity to meet new people from all around the world. Starsky was a great host, he explained all things I needed and chatted with all of us just to keep the mood on high levels. It was a wonderful experience and I can only recommend this place to anyone thinking about exploring Barcelona.
