We offer an Individual room near Plaza España (5 minutes walking), Magic Fountains of Montjuic, Park Montjuic and all of its museums, gardens, Olympic Stadium, Fortress and many other sites of interest.
The room is small, but well organized with a tall bunk bed beneath which you will find a desk and place to hang/organize your cloths. The bed measures 90cm by 200cm so it is quite long for a single bed (and comfortable as well). Again, yes the room is small but my boyfriend and I love hosting so I'm sure you will enjoy your stay!! And you can't beat our views from our balcony!
Near several lines of transport including Barcelona Sants Station, Metro lines 1 and 3, Aerobus (easy transport to the main airport, El Prat), Barcelona City Tour (bus that takes you on a tour of the city's many touristic attractions), and numerous other bus lines.
Walking distance to La Rambla and the old center of town or a quick trip on the metro ( 3 stops)
Charming early 20th century flat with lots of natural sunlight.
Lovely view of the city and Park Collserola with its emblematic Tibidabo and Church, Temple de Sagrat Cor.
We are also near numerous supermarkets, some of which are open 24 hours a day as well as several bars and restaurants. You will find all kinds of shopping possibilities near by such as Arenas (old bull fighting arena turned into a shopping mall), and the Hostafrancs market (traditional Catalan market selling fresh produce, meats, fish, local specialities, etc.)
You will have your own single bedroom and may use the whole house (kitchen, living room and shared bathroom).
WE ALSO HAVE TWO OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR RENT IN OUR FLAT:
We are a young, friendly, non-smoking house and look forward to meeting you!

Wonderful flat in a convenient, central location. Easy walking distance to Pl. Espanya and Sants station. Very good value for money. The flat was clean and well presented. Many thanks to the hosts.
Great location! I was here for Y4FN conference, which is part of Mobile World Congress and it was just perfect, because I could walk to the location. Also you get a pretty nice view from the balcony.
Lots of interesting spots nearby and not far away with the subway and bus lines nearby.
And the host, Starsky is a really interesting guy! It was great talking to him.
The bed is cozy and clean. And it is located so good:) it's closed by bus stop and metro. And also, nearby cafe and restaurant are friendly.
Mary is a guy. Freezing cold (no heating). But price/quality definitely ok! And he's a nice guy, just is weird that he pretends to be a girl...online
Alright, this is MARY, I am a female and I am Starsky's wife. He does not pretend to be a girl. As you can see in the photo, we are a couple. As it is not possible to put two on names on an Airbnb profile, we have put my name but if you look at the picture, you can see that we are two different people. I would like to once again remind all Airbnb users that you should learn about how airbnb works before deciding to make a booking. Many people have multiple listings. My husband and I have two and we move back and forth between both (as in we live partially in both places) Airbnb offers ALL KINDS of listings, so the user must always ask questions before making a booking if he/she has specific expectations. You can find hostels where no host lives, or vacation homes which are shared by multiple travellers. In our case, we actually live in our homes. We don't appreciate your insensitive comment regarding the gender of my husband. As for the heating, you came during the coldest week of the year unfortunately, so sorry about that. Usually heating is unnecessary.
I arrived near midnight but did receive very warm welcome! I love the stay!
Everything went fine. The room is small as on the picture, but great if you just visit the city and stay out all day anyways – which you should if you're in Barcelona! The hosts were amazing, kind, nice and did everything to make me feel as comfortable as possible.

I'm from Portland ,Oregon, USA and I've been living in Barcelona since June 2011. I studied a master's degree in Translation Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and am currently working as a freelance translator/english teacher.
My interests include, hiking, camping, cooking, soccer, dancing, el Camino de Santiago, yoga, running, foreign languages, and of course, world travel. I couldn't pick a favorite place in the world, there are too many wonderful things to see and experience; however, next on my destination list is the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal.
Although I'm new to Airbnb, I have lots of experience living with people from all over the world. Previous roommates of mine have come from countries such as China, Nigeria, Kenya, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Iran and Mexico.
Looking forward to meeting more travelers from all over the world!
