One of the special things about the Sakura River house is the location. It faces the Takase River along a quiet street. Yet is only a few minutes walk from some of the best cafes, restaurants, sights and shopping areas in Kyoto. There is a convenience store around the corner. You can also rent bikes and Kimonos in the area. Nishiki market is less than 10 minutes' walk. Get here from Kyoto Station by bus (15 minutes) or taxi (around 1200 yen). Nearby underground and train stations (within 10 minutes' walk): Hankyu Shijo-Kawaramachi station, Keihan Gion-Shijo, Keihan Gojo.
