Omer seems a nice person. We thank him for coming to meet us at the bus stop, took us to the apartment, offering to carry our suitcase up the 60 stairs, and explaining a few things. Nevertheless, unfortunately, I must say that my holiday was partly spoiled because of the apartment during our one week stay in July in Zadar:
Most of all, there was no real view from the window or the balcony except two dirty high walls (unless one bends over the balcony).
Secondly, by any standard it was very noisy because of the two bars with very loud music: One bar below the building and one just in front of the building. This went on at night until 2 AM during the week and about 3 AM on Friday and Saturday. In the morning, it became very noisy from 7 or 7:30 in the morning mainly again due to the bars. The noise is particularly disturbing as you have no view either to enjoy at least the view and lively atmosphere.
The apartment was clean. We think it is too small for a family of three people.
Fortunately, the town is very nice and I would recommend to anyone to visit Zadar.
Omer was the best! He was really kind, picked us up at the bus station and gave us a ride to the apartment. Arriving there, he explained everything about the city. Great guy and great place! The apartment is really well equiped and decorated. The bar downstairs is a bit noizy, but didnt bothered us.
Omer was a great host, he waited for us at the bus stop when we arrived, and even though it was late at night he took the time to explain everything (from apartment to things to do,etc). He even left a bottle of local Croatian wine for us to try. The apartment itself was well located, just a block away from the Main Street. It also had AC and wifi (not something you get always in other old town apartments we've stayed at). We had a late flight going home and he was very flexible in letting us stay past checkout time. Would recommend the apartment to anyone wanting a short break in Zadar.
Omer was an excellent host, our flight had a big delay and he didn't mind waiting for us, he suggested some nice places for us to visit and explained all about neighbourhood. The place is very well located, nice, tidy and clean. I completely recommend it. Was a lovely experience and we look forward to go back!
Very well located apartment slap bang in the middle of the old town. The apartment is really well equipped and super clean. Kitchen especially so and enabled us to cook as had handy condiments to use. Omer was a great host and gave us lots of information on arrival. Thanks Omer!! :)
This was an excellent place to stay in Zadar. Omer was very professional, replied quickly to our e-mails and told us all the information we needed for our trip. He met us promptly at the bus stop form the airport and even provided us a bottle of water, milk and biscuits because we arrived late at night, and he didn't want us not to have the essentials. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, including extras Omer provided such as mosquito repellant, AC and fans. It can be a little noisy at night as it's above a bar, but it what you expect being in the heart of the old town. I would definitely stay here again when coming to Zadar.
About the Host, Omer
Hi, I'm Omer and I work as commercialist. I'am married and father of two sons. My wife and I have an extra apartment that we want to rent it in this attractive tourist place like Zadar. I hope AirBnb is good option for that and to meet people all over the world and show them one tiny piece of this world.
