Fabulous Garden Cottage!! On the Woodland Hills/Calabasas border.THIS IS NOT A SHARE! THIS IS NOT SOME NOISY APARTMENT! You have the entire place to yourself. (URL HIDDEN) Centrally heated and cooled.Tall vaulted ceilings. Wood bedroom floors.(2) fun, yet tastefully styled bed rooms. One with french doors that look out onto one of the "two" "garden patios" through french doors. The linens are of sufficient thread count and are impeccably clean.(I clean them myself). A bathroom with a "full bathtub",and not just a shower. You can be assured of peaceful uninterrupted nights sleep because (1) the intentionally designed, outside noise sound resistant construction of the cottage,(2)the house is situated on an almost twenty thousand square foot GATED COMPOUND,(3) this is NOT AN APARTMENT OR CONDO whereas you are "held captive" to the whims of noisy partying or fighting neighbors...This is a completely detached building with total privacy as it's sole design mission.(4) The house is situated almost two hundred feet off of the main thoroughfare(URL HIDDEN)

(URL HIDDEN)The kitchen is fully appointed ,including a dishwasher ,microwave,full sized refrigerator, full stove , toaster,spices that would satisfy most palettes,dishes,and an assortment of pots and pans. An array of gourmet teas and coffee are there for your enjoyment. There is a clothes washer and dryer solely for your use.*(Due to the drought,washer and dryer are strictly for stays one week or longer...Also because of the drought,the dishwasher will be inoperable).
(URL HIDDEN)The step down living room is a combination of Mediterranean "shabby chic' blended with an "American Santa Fe" that gels nicely from the brightly waxed Spanish tiled floors to the Ornate tall arched ceilings with Casablanca ceiling fans..The place has french doors every where that give it a bright and sunny "inside garden feel"during the day ,and the carefully arraigned wall sconces set the mood for either romantic to highly festive for the night. (URL HIDDEN) Step out of the french doors to either one of the two private patios for a relaxing glass of wine The Barbecue pit with complementary coals will give you the chance to flex those "out door culinary skills" you haven't used in quite some time.(URL HIDDEN)
(URL HIDDEN) Best of all its an easy short drive through "back road beautiful mountain scenery" direct to Malibu Beach California .Lots of hiking and biking trails,(2 complementary bicycles available). "High end "shopping abounds well within easy walking distance.Conveniently situated between the Calabasas Commons,(as seen frequently on TMZ and other shows), and at least four other shopping malls and stand alone boutiques abound. There are also plenty of" Gourmet" restaurants for every taste and palate . Public transit is within blocks to take you to local places like Hollywood, Universal studios, Venice Beach, and such.There is no need to base your "home away from home" in any one of those congested areas when within a few minutes you can be there.Lets face it, most Vacations to "Big Cities" aren't very relaxing... Other Things to Note
Guest must contact us via telephone,(no texting),upon arrival in the greater Los Angeles are..(air port train station ,etc) so that a better gauge of their ETA will be determined by us. Guest must also at least 72 hours prior to arrival give us their travel itinerary(i.e. what time plane lands). This shall be done via Air BNB system email please. Host will not guarantee a timely access to the rental without the afore mentioned notification from the guest.
Check in time 3pm and check out time11am , The cleaning fee is 80.00 No smoking of anything in the premises., Smoking anywhere "outside" on premises is also prohibited . any where on premises for any reason.This is a strict NO SMOKING vacation rental. No pets of any kind.(This is a private residence). Absolutely no drugs or use of any kind. Please, let's be aware of our behavior. No loud music at any hour of the day or night. Absolutely no rough house play by guest We attempt at all times to be a "green and conservation aware" house.The air conditioning and heating are managed at a "preset" temperature , and can only altered or changed by the host .PLEASE do not run the ac/heating with the windows open,In the event that a window or door stays open for a prolonged period, the central unit will automatically shut down for at least one hour (after all doors and windows are closed), Unless reset by host. ALL lights, heating and air conditioning must be switched OFF when guest are not in the bungalow .Disregard of theses rules in particular will give rise to immediate cancellation of your reservation.With a refund of the unused portion of the unused balance of rents paid (less any damages incurred). Unfortunately due to abuse by a small percentage of "past guest",.. we've been forced to put these mandatory guidelines into place.Without such rules we would be forced to charge much higher rates. For the most part our guest are very "conservation aware" ...THESE ARE GUIDELINES and can only be altered at the host's discretion .Due to the large size of the property,guest shall confine themselves to the "cottage area" and assigned patio and garden areas. The main house is considered strictly off limits to guest.Please.. ALL" guest of the guest" must be personally escorted on to and off of the (URL HIDDEN) exception. No "on premise parking" by "guest of the (URL HIDDEN) exception. Driving or parking on the premises are at the host discretion. Host accepts no liability for damage done to guest automobile while parked or driven on premise with the permission of the host .Guest accepts any and all liability for property damage (both physical and personal),incurred by or result of him/her self and or his or her guest..Candles in the unit are for decoration "ONLY" the candles on the dining table may be lit "ONLY" while placed on the dining room table. Candles may also be used outdoors ... if used with (website hidden) fires of any kind in the home with the exception of the oven and stove.The house assumes "absolutely no" responsibility for Guest's actions or accidents,or loss of any kind or manner. No parties unless party otherwise approved by management and guest has paid "party rates"...Also party insurance must be purchased and approved by management. No moving,rearrangement, or removal of furnishings for any reason. These are easy "guidelines,Please try to adhere to them as closely as you can.. Disregard of theses rules will give rise to "alteration" of guest (website hidden) other words you will be required to immediately vacate with a refund of the balance already paid, minus any charges/damages you have already acquired.Any and all acts or" discussion or traditions" relating to politics and or religion must be done ,discussed ,and or practiced inside the confines and privacy of your "indoor area". As so not to offend , effect or affect other parties/neighbors on or around the (URL HIDDEN) EXCEPTIONS.The . "Host reserves the right to pass'. Host also reserves the right to refuse service.Please understand when you give an E.T.A we probably will have to drive a considerable distance to meet and greet you.... ETA must be communicated to host at least three days prior to arrival or we cannot guarantee we can meet you to give you keys. Any changes must also be conveyed to the host.The guest also understands this agreement does not constitute a contract between "landlord and tenant", as stipulated in/by codes of California . This agreement is a temporary "vacation stay" in which any monetary compensation or consideration is an agreed upon donation to the household stipulated in the afore mentioned contract in return for temporary rights as stipulated in and for use solely in the time period indicated in the afore mentioned habitation contract. Owner does not relinquish any owners rights as property owners rights are defined in/by the State of California code or as defined in/by local ordinances .Should the occasion occur whereas circumstances come to the attention of the host(owner) that the guest has obtained the reservation by utilizing false pretense,omission,or host reasonably believes that guest has or will have brought or will bring something or circumstance that will create an unreasonable danger or risk to others..,All guest and other occupants will immediately permanently vacate premises. Guest also will forfeit all monies donated to the vacation rental.
