I visited Santa Barbara with a large group and Esther & Perry's house ended up being the perfect choice for us. The location was great and Esther and Perry were super accommodating as hosts. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was extremely over priced for what it actually was. We could not check in until 5:00 which handcuffed on other options to stay once we saw the home (Holiday weekend and traveled 5 hrs). There is no yard, no bikes to use as they are damaged, but this was not told to …

Response from Esther&Perry:
We have a sliver of a yard in the back. Not a yard per say. But I don't think I mention I have a big yard. It's small . It's not enclosed. We have a BBQ grill half propane and half coal. It's your responsibility to provide fuel. Sorry I just don't have a tank but I do have coals. We have several bikes on the lot that we let guests use for free but they all had flats and I didn't have a chance to fix them before their arrival. It's a little challenging for me to get the house ready and repair bikes in 6 hours between guests. We had a major plumbing issue last week and had to take out the carpets and replace it with wood floors. Our floor carpets are a little old but clean and I like them. The mold issue is not spreading from the bathroom upstairs to the kitchen downstairs. There is wood paint stain splatters on my kitchen cieling. It's not mold. I welcome any one to my old home in SB to see. I can share pictures of all the dents and bruises in this old house. There was a little mold in the shower on the cieling, which I didn't spray down unfortunately. I ran out of bleach. My fault and for that I'm sorry and will make sure that doesn't happen again. This is a 4 bedroom house with a game room. It's a fun old shanty 7 blocks to the beach, downtown and the funk zone. 4th of July is the busiest weekend in America. The price was right for that weekend. It's not perfect it's old but it's our home and we love it and enjoy it and love sharing it with like minded individuals. If your looking for perfection this is definitely not it. But the price is fair because I can't take my family of 5 anywhere else for any less. So if you want to stay in our home then we need to stay in another home to which we need to pay. And it's hard to find anything less than our price for a family of 5 and a dog. ;) I'm an open book and will answer any questions you need and show you anything you need. I am also here to welcome you and walk you through the house and show you all the quirks and glitches. If you are at all uncomftorble with the conditions of our home at the time of your arrival or at any other time of your stay, please let myself and Airbnb know. I will refund the nights you did not stay and help find more suitable accommodations for you. Thank you for taking the time to read this response.

Esther and Perry were very accommodating and have an awesome family. When my friends and I got to the house they gave us a little tour of where everything was, and geeked out over some of the stuff in the man cave. They also made sure that we had everything we needed. It was a ve…
