My warm and sunny, relaxed-vibed apt is in the heart of SoHo, right under the ‘red’ dot on the map of Hong Kong! My apt oozes chic, urban, hip and all is contained in my spacious studio apartment on lower Elgin st, and in Hong Kong's most sought after location. You will enjoy a long expanse of sunny windows to view the street life below.
I don't live there, so it's all yours, 100% with lots of space and privacy for relaxing after absorbing Hong Kong's lifestyle. I'm not far away though if you need advice on where to eat, shop, browse, climb, swim, sail, surf, or party.
Step downstairs to absorb the undeniably and very friendly vibe below on the cobblestoned street of lower Elgin. SoHo is also the oldest neighbourhood in Hong Kong. What awaits you downstairs is an array of delicious restaurants, galleries, cafes, bars, eclectic boutiques, wet markets, all standing the test of time in this pulsating metropolis we call home. Don’t forget your camera!
You will easily see why SoHo is undeniably Hong Kong’s most charming, colourful, cosmopolitan and pulsating neighborhoods.
My apt is incredibly, perfectly situated to everything you will need for your stay here! Just a few minutes walk down to Central MTR and Sheung Wan MTR and is just one minutes walk to the worlds longest escalator. It is also a 4minute walk to central, the IFC, the HK Airport Express and all ferry piers which depart to the outlying islands. It is just a 10minute walk to the Macau Ferry Terminal and the Western Market.
My apartment has possibly one of Hong Kong’s most spacious bathrooms with a lovely slate tiled floor, beaming with natural light, as is the main open studio-type area. I have heating and air-con, very fast WI-FI, a quaint kitchen equipped with cooking utensils, a nice comfortable bed, a hugely comfortable couch, a new massive white desk, tons of art-filled walls, and probably the largest storage/wardrobe space you could ever want to fill.
My apt ideally suits an individual or a couple who want to be close to step into the buzz of Hong Kong! The long, green sofa is a treat to snooze on, or sleep on if you have an extra friend/child with you. I also have a fold out bed if you need.
I hope to meet and greet you soon to my charming abode. Contact me for any Q’s.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Louise's apartment in Feb 2014. I agree with everyone else's comments. The place it great! If you are new to Hong Kong this place is in the PERFECT location.... Right in the middle of a great part of the city, but also on a quiet, walking street.
If you arrive early (or want to pass some lazy hours of people-watching), I also recommend sitting outside on the patio at the restaurant "Guru" across the street with a glass of beer or wine....
The only warning I would offer is that when we were there, there was pretty serious construction going on in the apartment next door to the unit (unbeknownst to a very apologetic Louise!). Just a tip to check on status of the construction before your stay. If it is in full force, it will likely be loud for you during the day. (But if you are away from 10-5 like we were, you might not notice!)
Outside of the small construction blip, the place is great! Go!
This is *the* place to stay for a trip to HK. The location can't be beat- you are on a walk street in the heart of town. The pic's of the place represent it well. Louise was an incredible host... as first timer's to the city, we appreciated her logistic support. Steps away from the longest escalator in the world, you can be anywhere in minutes. There is also a new blow dry in the building next to Louise's, in case you need to get fancy before stepping out. Can't wait to come back. I will recommend this place to any friend of mine that visits and wants something that a hotel cannot offer- being right in the mix, on the pulse. Thanks, Louise!!
My husband and I stayed in this well appointed Soho apartment for 5 days in February. It was perfect for us: clean, comfortable, and the location could not have been better. I would gladly stay there again, and I will be recommending it to anyone I know visiting Hong Kong.
Louise has a nice flat, and is a very helpful host. Bathroom is nice, bed is comfortable. No TV, (but honestly, who needs TV in HK??)
Location was good, just a short walk (100m) away from the soho escalator. The address could be difficult to find for out of towners, but Louise can give you very specific directions that are helpful. All in all a nice stay, and I would recommend.
We had a great time on our four day visit to Hong Kong in this fabulous apartment in a quiet street in the middle of Soho. The apartment is easy to reach via the escalator running up from Hong Kong station, and then you find yourselve in a great neighbourhood near all the nice restaurants and bars. Also the apartment has great wifi.
Our host Louise was wonderful. Although she was not even in Hong Kong during the time of our visit, her clear instructions and quick response to our questions and messages via airbnb was excellent and highly appreciated. We enjoyed our stay in Hong Kong very much and would recommend Louises Soho apartment to anyone planning on visiting Hong Kong!
What a discovery! It was my third time in Hong Kong and I knew the city quite well. However, this place, this location gave me the opportunity to get to learn another, rich, fascinating, aspect of Hong Kong society. Thanks to this apartment on Elgin Street, one gets a glimpse of the people living there. Early in the morning, the old women come and sell their second hand clothes. Later, the fruit and vegetable salesmen and -women do their job. Afterwards, the tourists appear and in the evening, the people celebrating life and their closing time enjoy the multitude of bars and restaurants from uncountable origins.
The apartment is exactly as described and as shown on the photos. It is bright and spacious, there are many drawers and cupboards to put away your cloths, a lovely bathroom, and a kitchen for light cooking. I worked on a book about among other things Hong Kong and enjoyed the desk near the large window and the fast internet to think and write.
The people living in the house are very calm, which is why relaxing in the apartment after a stroll through the lively city is ideal. The Old Peak Road being not too far away, one can easily walk up to the Peak and avoid mostly the busy streets.
Last but not least, Louise and Suzanna, her helper, are fantastic! Unfortunately, Louise had to be in Perth when I was in Hong Kong, which is why we couldn't meet. We, however, had a lovely exchange about many things and I hope to meet her another time. Due to a misunderstanding between Louise and Suzanna, the key to the apartment wasn't where it was supposed to be. Within half an hour, though, Louise managed to organize everything and provided me with everything I needed during my two weeks stay.
All in all, a wonderful experience and I'm grateful to Louise and Suzanna for all the help and support I got!
I just spent a fabulous weekend in Hong Kong! I can truly recommend the apt of Louise. It is exactly as described and seen in the pictures and Louise is a perfect hostess. Quick in response and providing extra information if needed. The location is just perfect! Will definitely be back!
We recently stayed at Louise's wonderful SoHo studio apartment. It suited us perfectly. Great location, nicely laid out and very neat and clean. It's a very hip location with lots of people and restaurants as well as a 7Eleven, a laundry and a local fruit stand. The entrance was a little tricky to locate however, the kind tailor in the shop below showed us the way. Although Louise was away, she responded very quickly to our request for an additional blanket.
We enjoyed being able to walk around the neighbourhood, taking the escalator up to the mid-levels and catching the Star ferry over to Kowloon. The Express train to the airport is also nearby.
We would definitely stay here again.

the apt is lovely and the location great. as the location of the apt is in central, be aware that the street outside can get really noisy because of all the bars and stuff. louise was not in town during my stay, but she was very helpful and answered all of my emails very quickly. my stay was great, with only one little downfall: the bed was slightly too short for my taste and i'm no giant with only 179cm in height.
The apartment was in a great location right in the middle of SOHO really close to loads of great bars, restaurants and shops. The escalator is really close, so it was also a great location to see other parts of the city.
The apartment was exactly as described and the perfect size for us for a few days sightseeing. Super quick wifi was a great added bonus too!
