About this listing
Charming small town in wine country 1 hour north of San Francisco. Our home is walkable to downtown restaurants, shops etc. Close to the beautiful Sonoma Coast beaches, wineries and great biking opportunities.
Charming 1920's bungalow in the center of town. 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Hardwood floors throughout. We have a queen bed and a twin bed. Couch is comfortable for sleeping and we also have a double size air mattress. But with one bathroom that would be a lot of people. The bathroom is only accessed from the bedrooms. My wife is a figurative sculptor so we have several of her pieces on display.
Entire home and property is available to our guests. As this is our home it is only available when we are away.
Interaction with Guests
As this is our home it is only available when we are on vacation. We will have neighbors provide you with a key and be available if you have any questions or problems.
Our home is close to the center of town and is within walking distance of grocery stores, movie and live theaters, restaurants, shops and parks. Sonoma County has a beautiful coastline, lots of hiking from old-growth redwood forests to hikes along the cliffs above the coast. There are many wineries and great restaurants. It's a great vacation destination.
We are close to a bus stop, but it has limited service. There are bike paths nearby leading east to Santa Rosa and north to Forestville. There is a lot of great biking in the area. Sonoma County airport is about 20 minutes away. San Francisco and Oakland airports are both about 1 hour 20 minutes. A car is necessary for really exploring the area.
As this is our home, we hope you treat it as you would treat your own. We ask that you do not smoke.
We really enjoyed our stay in Sebastopol. Paul was a great host and the accommodations were nice. The home is in an excellent location with walking distance to downtown and has a beautiful garden!
Paul's house is perfect for a visiting family. Well-appointed, well-loved, and walking distance from a pool, a park and downtown Sebastopol.
A garden full of herbs and lettuces along with peaches and raspberries from the back yard made a nice accompaniment to the delicious bottle of local Pinot Noir Paul and his family left for us.
Paul's house was great and as described. Location was amazing...on a quiet street just a few blocks away from all the downtown shops, restaurants, and bars. Bonus: Paul left us a bottle of wine to help us kick off our weekend. Highly recommend this place for your Sebastopol getaway!
We loved this cute home! A nice location in a quaint town. The atmosphere is home inviting and the home is clearly loved by its owners. Very comfortable stay. Only wish we'd had more than one day to explore the area.
Sebastopol is very enjoyable and Paul's home is well located
to access downtown cafe's, restaurants, stores etc. Would
love to stay here again.
