The river valley Meewasin Trail system which is used for recreation and foot or bicycle travel, is three blocks away. The University of Saskatchewan is a 30 minute walk, an easy 15 minutes by bicycle.
Bus transit to downtown, university is one block away.
Upstairs: one large bedroom with sitting/dressing area and two smaller bedrooms, full bath, study. Main floor: kitchen, living, dining, foyer, half-bath. Basement: laundry with new high-efficiency appliances, pantry, storage, bathroom with shower.
Our house was built in 1915 by a family that owned a lumber business. It has plenty of original oak woodwork. The Nutana neighbourhood is old by western Canadian standards, the streets lined by mature elm trees. It is a very walkable and culturally diverse area.
We have a large, private fenced yard with barbecue and south-facing patio. There is always ample on-street parking, which is what we use. However, one off-street space off the back lane is available if you wish.
Rental price includes cable-internet and wifi. Gas and electrical are extra. The heating system is new (2009), high-efficiency. Kitchen is fully equipped, bedding and towels provided, two TVs.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
