This bright, clean, spacious one- bedroom suite in a two- storey former farmhouse in downtown Peterborough, Ontario on a quaint and quiet residential neighbourhood, lined with trees and historic homes . Extremely convenient , it is just 10-15 minutes by car to many major attractions & amenities and a 10- minute walk to downtown shops, restaurants and bars. It is only a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto and only 1 km from the Go & Greyhound Bus Terminal .
With all the comforts of home this one- bedroom suite is located on the second floor with its own private entrance. Suites two people comfortably. As this is our maximum number of guests we prefer.
Separate living room with sofa, computer desk, TV with cable, ceiling fan.
Has a full kitchen with a medium size fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and kitchen utensils if you prefer to make your own meals.
Three piece washroom (located in middle of
the hallway and bedroom which is in the back of the home) (best suited for one person or a couple who is comfortable with each other).
Queen size bed includes fresh linens.
One parking space available
Apartment upstairs, front porch, one specified parking spot in front of the house.

A few nearby attractions highly recommend. All under 25 minutes by vehicle:
Jackson Park - located at Monaghan & Park Hill Rd. intersections. Excellent trail running through wooded area used frequently by walkers and bikers. Very picturesque park.
Beavermead - The Trans Canada Trail runs throughout the park, good for walking, biking, rollerblading, fishing, swimming, kayaking or canoeing rentals available.
Del Cary Park - Beautiful park host to the Musicfest concert series operating on Wed. and Sat. nights from mid June-August. The park is located next to the Marina on the shores of Little Lake.
Peterborough Marina - Located in the heart of downtown Peterborough on Little Lake. 134 lakes and some of the most magnificent landscape connected by the historic Trent -Severn Waterway. The waterway is approximately 386 kilometres in length. Do not miss the opportunity to go on a boat cruise through the various Lift Locks and observe the operation of the world's highest hydraulic Lift Lock- a fascinating feat of gravity and engineering precision that looks like an enormous bathtub on posts.
Riverdale Zoo - Just north of downtown Peterborough. It's free. Board the miniature train for a small fee. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting to enjoy a leisurely stroll.
The Canadian Canoe Museum - Has more than 100 canoes and kayaks on display. Free parking.
Shopping on Lansdowne Street - Lansdowne Mall is a great place to start as it offers a variety of stores and a Superstore. There are plenty of dine-in and take-out restaurants and coffee shops to please any taste buds.
College/University - Close to Trent University, Sir Sandford Fleming College and Lakefield College School.
Peterborough Public Transit, designated bike lanes, taxi or walking.
