There are several restaurants within very close walking distance like Hotel 9, Morgans Cove and The Point Bar & Restaurant. And its a beautiful 10 min walk along the beach into town.
There's no question this is one of the BEST values in Jaco. I will be happy to assist you in booking your accommodation and suggesting options for air transportation, booking tours, etc. I can also give you a list of restaurants and fun things to do. No need to rent a surf board one will be provided for you!
Please note to accommodate 4 people, 2 would sleep on the same bed in the room and 2 on fold out couch. The place is not massive, but the location is awesome. Book it now while its still available.

Interaction with Guests
Over phone / email and have concierge onsite when they are there.
Its right on the beach! The neighbors are so nice and friendly and plenty of cool spots just walking distance from the condo.
Head right out onto the beach from the front gate. There's nice bars and restaurants walking distance from condo and you can get pretty much anywhere in Jaco by bike.
Other Things to Note
Surfboard in the unit, you can use it for free, but if you break it you fix it !
This is a family oriented place, yes you can bring the occasional guest over if you want , just be courteous of your neighbors.
Consider your environment - please don't run air conditioning unnecessarily.
This is a dog friendly place.
Enjoy your stay!
Great access to the beach. Less than 2 min walk from door to exfoliating soft black sand They should sell that stuff at spas. You will see some of the most beautiful sunsets in you life. More beautiful than Negril and that was unbelievable. Villa Calletas is an absolute must do. No complaints on the unit other than the door which was difficult to lock and unlock and the pullout bed which was basically broken. Nice pool and great view to beach. A little far from town to get something to eat but if you don't mind a 10 min walk then it's a great private location.
Hi Anderson glad you enjoyed your stay! We will definitely get the pull out bed fixed asap. For food there's a good beach front restaurant just 2 minutes walk called Mafalda cafe.. and another one called Hotel 9 cafe. And about 5 minutes away there's Morgan's cove and some others on the north side. But yes the town itself is 10 minutes walk down the beach (not a bad walk) :)
Simply the best place to stay in Jaco. Even when downtown is too crowded At the condo you can enjoy the peace and relax of the beach. The condo is fully equipped as it is described. It has all the amenities required for a comfortable staying. The place is really clean and the pool makes you want to stay in the water forever... The beach is right across the front gate so you can see it from the pool. I have to say that the attention we receive from James was great, he's such a nice guy and we hadn't any problems in the days we stood there. Also the condo is near to several markets, restaurants, bars so it won't take too long to go shopping, eating or partying. We will definitely come back.
The condo was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities mentioned in the description. The beach was literally right out front past the gate, and there was a surf school set up in the morning with very reasonable prices to rent a surf board, chairs, and private surf lessons. The sunsets were gorgeous and the pool area was stunning. It was very quiet at night, the other tenants were overall an older crowd and very respectful and helpful. Luckily there were people out at the pool when we arrived who buzzed us in the gate, as we did not have the key at that point. Once we were let in, the door to our designated condo was open and key with clicker was left on the island of the kitchen as mentioned. Again, the inside was very clean and had many extra linens and towels, with a full kitchen available. We were disappointed that no one was there to greet us, the property manager was unknown as we were not informed what condo they were in, and the host was unresponsive when we messaged prior to arrival. We struggled to call a taxi at night as our Spanish is decent but not perfect, and so the company would hang up on us. The walk to town is about 15-20 minutes, and for two girls at night we were told by locals it was unsafe to walk the area after dark... So we had to jump through some hoops to get a taxi into town. I did appreciate that the condos had security after dark (6p-6a) as it made my friend and I feel much safer. One of which helped us get a cab. We were also slightly perturbed by the mosquitoes that resided IN the condo... We had gone through our entire 10 day trip without one bug bite in many other areas, but here we saw multiple mosquitoes flying around inside our condo. We killed one, but there were others that we could only see flying intermittently but did find us when we were sleeping! Despite putting on bug spray before bed! So that was a bit frustrating. Also it was mentioned there was a surf board in the condo to use? We could not find one. Finally, we were told (based on the airbnb confirmation) that check-in and check-out times were flexible. So we scheduled a taxi to come pick is up at 1p to head back toward the airport on our last day. At 11:15a two women came to the door with cleaning supplies and said they needed to clean. They asked if they could get started while we were still in there. We told them that was ok, but we wish they would've gave us notice and we would have made sure to be out of the room. They said they had new tenants coming at 3p (2 hours after we would have left), and needed to clean now. One of the women came in to clean...
Desgraciadamente no puedo emitir criterio sobre el servicio y las instalaciones , ya que la reserva aceptada inicialmente , fue cancelada al día siguiente .
If you are heading to Jaco, this is the place to stay. The apartment is literally right on the beach, and has everything you would ever need for beach chairs, full size fridge, full service kitchen, and probably the most comfy bed Ive slept in.
Check in was super easy and communication with James was very detailed.
If I come back to Jaco, this would be my preferred place to stay.
James left us fabulous instructions about reaching the condo and enjoying the town. The local property manager was very responsive to our emails. We arrived at night but security was great and we were able to get in with no trouble. The condo is in a great, quiet location, perfect for enjoying the beach, surfing and sunsets. The other residents are friendly and the pool and grounds are immaculately kept, plus there's a security team at night. The condo itself is great - super A/C, plenty of kitchen utensils, comfy king-sized bed, and plenty of towels. The furniture is showing a little wear but it's still better than a hotel! The condo also has pool "noodles" and some umbrellas. Parking is available. It was easy to do laundry as well. We ate several breakfasts at a little restaurant on the beach just three properties down, where we also took in a sunset over dinner. Taxis are easy to come by if you can use a phone or skype, so visiting Jaco (if you don't walk the short distance) is easy. This is a very quiet, private place to stay and we enjoyed being on the less-busy side of things. Also, Jaco is often visited by locals, so weekends tend to be busier than weekdays, but both times are equally fun. One tip: Try not to arrive at night without bringing some food with you, unless you have the phone number for a taxi or delivery restaurant!
