The Space

Spacious double room with lots of storage in a modern conversion in the heart of central London. The room is available for short term visitors, ideal for people on holiday or business in central London. The apartment is on the first floor (one floor above street level) with around twenty stairs, and no lift/elevator. It has a good sized reception room and well equipped kitchen. All windows have secondary glazing so the apartment is quiet despite being on a busy street.

  • It was my first time with Airbnb and I highly recommend this kind of accommodation. Ian was very kind and helpful with us and he was concerned about our necessities before and during our stay.
    The room was lovely, very comfortable and the way we expected.The room and bathroom were really clean and with all the equipment (towels, soap, sheets...). Futhermore, Ian provided us maps and some London information.
    The best thing of all is the location. It is worth paying a bit more to be in the heart of London. You won't need to get any public transport, you can almost go anywhere by walking.
    I highly recommend this host and accommodation.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed this property! Location, location, location! For first time London-goers this property is perfect. It's directly across from the tube and the Eye, Trafalgar Square, all the theatres, Westminster Abbey, etc are all within a quick walk. One of the bonus features for us was the restaurants that are in the same block that provided us with 2 of the best late night dining experiences we had during our 3 weeks in the UK. Lupita's Mexican and the Italian spot right next door are fabulous. The actual room and ensuite were immaculate. The bed is super-comfy and the atmosphere is uptown chic. Ian is a great host and as a rookie Air BnB user he patiently helped me along when I needed instructions or messed up the timing of getting the keys. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful, too. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and in terms of value for dollar - this can't be beat.

  • It was a lovely stayed. We enjoyed staying at Ian's place. The flat is located very close to tube stations and a few minute walk to piccadilly circus and covent garden. Definitely come back.

  • Ians place is superb! really nicely presented and spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable Couldn't have been in a more central spot for seeing London with easy walking distance to Trafalgar Square,Leicester Square,Regent Street and Piccadilly as well as being close to many of the west end theatres. Charing Cross station is just on the end of the street with regular buses running from the Strand around the corner.You can also walk to the Hungerford Bridge and cross the Thames.The road outside the flat was buzzing with great atmosphere during the day,though not noisy at night with lots of places to eat ,during our weekend stay we ate in 3 of the restaurants literally just outside the door.(La Piazza do a great Pizza!)We loved it and felt very safe in the neighbourhood.Ian is a lovely guy,very friendly and a good communicator,we would definitely love to stay again and highly recommend it to all.

  • This is a great little apartment!! It is in a perfect location - very easy to access underground stations and within walking distance to Trafalgar Square! Room itself is quite big and it's great having your own en-suite! We didn't meet Ian as he was away - but great with email communication and Olga (the cleaner) was very helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend this place!

  • The flat is lovely, very large and the room available really comfortable. Ian had prepared the room wonderfully and we arrange check-in with ease. He seemed like a really nice chap and I would be very happy to stay at this flat again - I understand it is very popular so book early!

  • Ian's flat is incredibly nice! Everything is super clean and you will really feel like home as nothing is missing (from the hairdryer to the safebox, Ian thought about every single need).
    The location is perfect to discover London (10 minutes walk from the National Gallery, 10minutes from Covent Garden market...), 2 steps from the Metro station (don't be afraid, you don't ear any train at anytime) and close to many restaurants, pubs and supermarkets.
    Really easy to do check in and check out.
    We would definetly come back to Ian's place!

  • Just back from the beautiful 8 days in London at Ian's premises. What can we say? Ian is a perfect guy, friendly, tidy, very helpfull in all issues starting from the London's leaflets, guide books, maps and up to printing of our boarding card. The room is beautiful, comfortable, very very clean, perfectly located at the very heart of London. Certainly will come back for another trip.
