The localities also have kitchen access.
Outside, you can enjoy the view from the terrace or relax in total privacy in the swimming pool. There are also wooden tables and benches and a barbecue in the garden, ready to be used by the guests.
In the surrounding area, you can explore numerous paths and old mule tracks on foot or by mountain bike (provided by the hosts free of charge).

  • Antonio and Marzia were the most generous hosts. We had difficulty with our GPS and when we got lost they came and collected us. They provided wonderful food on our arrival and made us feel very welcome. Such Tuscan hospitality. Highly recommend a visit to this country property in the hills. Arezzo is definitely worth a visit.

  • Hermitage in nature. This gem, high up in the Tuscany mountains, is highly recommended for everybody looking for a magical holiday where body and mind are taken care of very well. Modern spirituality pure sang.

Marzia, the wonderful host, makes you feel at home at once. She takes care for mind and body. Giving generous bio food, wise advice and fiat panda transportation to nearby Arezzo. She has a pure heart and dedicate her life supporting others to help develop the good in themselves. Snakes and scorpions are terrible and she is not afraid to kill them when necessary.

Without Antonio, Eremo Natura would still be only an idea in Marzia's mind. This handy man brings the idea to real life by delivering beautiful and refined work on the big property. He is like an angel: you don't hear him much but he is there for you whenever you need some support.

Il Giglione is the name of the Iris, symbolizing our divinity. Inspired by monks but with all modern, cosy comfort you could wish for. The perfect spot to do your own living in abundance and grace retreat. The property is adorned with pretty springflowers like for example the wild orchid.

We discovered an olive garden just 1 km down the road. It's a perfect picnic spot with Bella Vista on the Tuscany hills. In stead of the harbinger of suffering, the Olive garden this time turned out to be a place of relaxation and enjoyment.

If you are up for an active holiday you may freely use the mountanbikes provided by Antonio.

The hermitage is on top of one of the hills surrounding Arezzo. Arezzo is a small Italian town where it's easy to find your way around. Restaurant Lancia d'Oro is highly recommend for moonlit dinner with view on the Grande Piazza. Marzia and Antonio both happily provide transportation if you came by public transport.

I like to thank both for the pleasant, magical stay and their supportive energies. They provide the same fabric dreams are made off. Molte Grazie.

  • Such friendly people and gracious hosts. Their place is up in the hills above Arezzo, with lovely views. We were only there overnight, but they made us feel so welcome. The accommodations were beautiful, with a very well furnished kitchen. We traveled there on a Ducati motorcycle which was a bit daunting in the rain, but don't let their distance from the beaten path discourage you. Its well worth the escape.

  • A very nice surprise! According to the description on AirBnb, we expected to find a nice place with welcoming hosts. When we arrived at Marcia and Antonio’s place, it was much more than it! They are so kind and generous! We arrived in the evening and they warmly welcomed us. This is an authentic little house with a living room, a full-equipped kitchen and a separated bedroom. There was plenty of food in the fridge and Marcia brought us further cheese, ham, fruits, fresh bread and even a fresh cooked cake the following day.
There is everything you need in the house, with very nice tableware and high-quality kitchenware. The decoration is lovely with natural materials and plenty of well thought-out details. It seems that they have thought about any needs of their guests. We also had a nice tour in the nature around and went to see the chickens and beehives.
Our short stay at Marcia and Antonio’s place was wonderful and we hope to come back again one day! The nature must be even more beautiful in the spring or summer!

  • We stayed at Antonio and Marta’s little stone cottage for just 2 days.
We were overwhelmed with their generous Italian hospitality!
They met us at the station and drove us home to the cottage that was brimming with lovely quality food for us. Then Marta made us fresh Gnocchi for dinner as well!
It had unseasonably snowed the morning before we arrived and the cottage was so warm and cosy with a heater in each room as well as a little combustion fire in the living/kitchen area, which was already lit for our arrival.
The next day Marta showed us around the area a bit then dropped us in Arezzo to stroll around. Poor Antonio waited over an hour for us due to us being at the wrong end of town at the pick up time! Yet not a complaint was made!
The bed is very comfortable with beautiful soft sheets and pillows. The bathroom is very modern yet still has a rustic aspect in the little window.
There was more food than we could eat at Marta insisted we take some food with us for our journey.

  • First I wanted to say it was one of the best places I have ever stayed at but after thinking a while - I have to admit that actually it was absolutely the BEST. And that's comparing to more then 20 different places I have visited only this year. Amazing retreat surrounded by the wild nature - I have never slept so well away from home. Cosy little house with lots of lovely details, tastiest food (honey was exceptional!), fresh air, beautiful nature around - Eremo Natura Il Giglione has it all. Many thanks to Antonio and Marzia, you have made our vacation a lot better then it could be! If we will return to Tuscany someday I hope to visit you again.

  • We arrived at Eremo Natura on a day of torrential rains and severely flooded roads. Both Antonio and Marcia were very welcoming and more than made up for the challenging weather even though they were dealing with flooding in their daughter's house in nearby Arezzo. Antonio has put passion into the property and they both clearly welcome getting to know those who stay with them. Due to the heavy rains, we did not explore the trails much but were able to see the ducks, chickens, bees and one of the several vegetable gardens. The pool was covered due to the season but would be amazing in good weather. The pictures they have posted online are completely realistic and representative. Il Giglione is in a beautiful spot on top of the mountain and is ideal for anyone wanting a peaceful stay in nature away from the hubbub of Tuscan cities. You must have a car to reach it and its location (a bit on a gravel road) turned out not to be daunting at all. While I don't believe food other than breakfast is normally included, after a harrowing day, Marcia made a lovely dinner, completely accommodating that we were vegetarian with much of the food coming from their garden. I had a great evening spending time with them. Marcia was completely willingly to provide an early breakfast as we needed to get on the road to return the rental car. Breakfast was a lovely spread. Anyone willing to work with the language differences (Marcia speaks some English) will have a lovely time here.

  • What a wonderful place to recharge and get back to nature! Antonio and Marzia created a special place where one can have the requisite modern conveniences and also feel completely removed from the modern time. Staying with them takes you back to a time where man was more in-tune with his surroundings. Their generous spirit only enhanced the atmosphere and made for an unforgettable experience. If you stumbled upon this place in your search, make every effort to get here. What they offer is truly priceless! Thank you Antonio and Marzia. I do hope that our paths will cross again.
