I enjoyed my stay at Justin's home. The pictures were accurate and the apartment was clean. I used lyft to travel around baltimore. It was great.
My only issue was parking. There is a garage but as a visitor you pay each time you want to leave the garage. Lack of parking made it hard for friends to come to the area.
Overall, I would stay at Justin's again. He is very friendly and easy to access if needed. My flight was canceled due to weather, Justin offered to let me stay another night if I needed. The area is very close to everything downtown. Walked to power plant.
Justin was great and the apartment was wonderful. Great experience with clear directions and good location.
Justin kept in good communication with us the whole time and came through with everything as promised. The apt is a nice sized one-bdr. Visitors could sleep in the living room, too. The building, a mid-rise, is very safe and has a concierge desk. It's part of a building complex that has its own garage for easy parking. The surrounding neighborhood is sketchy: walk one way and there are a lot of street bums, but walk the other way and there are some nice hotels, the University of Maryland Professional campus (medicine, law, etc.). Walking distance to the Inner Harbor, the Orioles' Camden Yards, and a short light rail ride (2 stops) to the Ravens football stadium.
Justin gave good directions, and the apartment is roomy and comfortable. It's in a great location--a few blocks from the conference center and waterfront.
Overall, I had a very good experience at Justin's place. The reservation and check-in process was easy, and Justin was very responsive and helpful all the way through. The apartment itself has what you'd want: comfortable bed, kitchen, laundry machines, and so on, and it was clean. Plus there's access to a nice gym in the adjoining building. There are just two caveats, both of which are beyond Justin's control and both of which address things besides the unit itself:
• Noise: Because Justin's unit is directly across from the elevator, you wind up hearing all the loud conversations that people have on their cellphones or with each other while waiting for the elevator or coming out of the elevator, and sometimes those happen late at night on the weekend when you may be trying to sleep.
• Safety: Although I had no problem while I was there, the area where the apartment is located doesn't feel like the world's safest. I noticed there were cops seemingly permanently stationed outside the 7-11 just a block away, which actually made it feel a touch safer.
Justin's apartment was perfect for attending a conference at the Hilton a few blocks away. He was very accommodating to my changing arrival/departure schedule, and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. The apartment was spacious, the internet worked well as promised, and the complex had a very nice gym. I very much enjoyed my stay.
Justin was a great host and has a nice place. This probably applies to the entire city of Baltimore, but I think it's good to know before staying in a place -- the neighborhood is fine, but as a single woman I wasn't entirely comfortable walking alone at night. Knowing this, I'd stay again. Thanks!
Justin has a fantastic apartment in a great location! I truly enjoyed my stay and would go there again.
Justin's place is conveniently located and very clean. The couches are super comfortable, and we felt right at home. My friends and I stayed on business, and it was a great place to come back to when you're tired.
Justin is a wonderful host. Everything was neat and tidy. Super comfy bed. He really went out of his way to be in contact, making sure that I found my way easily to the apartment. The location was very convenient for me. Last but not least, he was very flexible and accommodated my schedule.
