The WorldMark Windsor resort is located on ten acres with multiple 3-story buildings, all with elevators. Nestled into the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, Windsor is a small town with deep roots in farming and, more recently, winemaking. You'll enjoy the area's family-owned wineries and the newly constructed Old Downtown, a development that brings to life Windsor's past, including the old general store and meat market. Lively restaurants abound, and the Town Green also hosts a Sunday Farmers' Market from May through November and concerts on summer nights.
Adjacent to WorldMark Windsor is the challenging Windsor Golf Course, host to six PGA Nike events. Windsor is also home to more than 1,000 acres of regional parkland and is the liftoff point of the annual Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic.
There is a fee for internet use. The resort will charge a $100 refundable fee at check in.
Worldmark made for a great place to stay. The location was ideal - Close to wine country and the surrounding local downtowns. Our condo was ready at check-in and clean. The decor and fireplace made it feel less like any other hotel room and the amount of space in the unit was great! The rooms are separated by a kitchen and living room so it does not feel cramped. There was a lovely porch that overlooked the grounds and the benefits of having a full kitchen and 2 large bathrooms were ideal for our group. The staff are really knowledgeable about the area and were a great resource since we were new to the area. Overall, no complaints.
Me and a group of friends went up to Sonoma for the Wine Barrel Tasting Festival. This location was great as it was just about 10 mins away from Healdsburg which where the festival starts. The condo staff was very friendly and there was a complimentary wine/food serving in the lobby when we arrived which was a great plus! Be aware that this is a time-share condo so they try to entice you with a free breakfast which requires you take a tour and hear their presentation afterward. If you're not interested, tell them before they start pitching you! The rooms are spacious, clean and come with their own BBQ sets on the patio. The only disappointment I have was that we were supposed to receive the wifi username/password from the owner of the condo but didn't. I texted Sarah to get the wifi info when we arrived to which she responded that I had to ask the front desk for it. When I told her the front desk said we'd have to get it directly from the owner, she never replied back. It's semi-understandable because Sarah is only the booking agent for the condo owners but she is suppose to be the point person for our needs/questions. I would have appreciated at least a response back. Luckily the staff was nice and gave us a complimentary access code for the weekend after explaining the issue to them. Overall, a great and affordable stay!
In town for 3 days of wedding festivities, we needed a place that could accommodate 2 small children and 4 adults, one of which is in an electric wheelchair. Not only did we all fit but the spacious living area and bathrooms made all of our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The property had everything from playground to pool areas, wheelchair accessible hot tub and the Murphy bed with queen mattress is actually comfortable! I want to thank Vincent for providing all the info we needed in a timely and kind manner and the WW staff for accommodating our request for a ground floor unit. I give 2 thumbs up for overall service provided by Vincent as well as the friendly staff at the Wordmark Windsor.
