About this listing
Must love pets: Marigny location and deal to stay in my main house, which has 2 bathrooms, stainless kitchen, queen bed, extra full bed sleeping nook.
I would need you to feed/water/care for pets. They are all very lovable and easy to tend to, just love attention.
I'm in the Marigny close to the French Quarter and Bywater. It's 4 blocks from Frenchmen st, but safe and quiet enough to enjoy the quiet when you get home.
My home, which has queen bed, huge open kitchen and living area, 2 bathrooms, and a little nook with full futon (serta springs--very comfy) sofa bed. Oh, and laundry, too.
Pets: Stella the husky, Dottie the rottie, jester the orange cat, and sissy pounce the fat calico cat.
Enter through the side yard via remote gate, code 2526. You only need to push those numbers then any key to close. Make sure you do quick and w no dogs walking by so dogs aren't tempted to escape. They know not too, but dogs barking by may be too appealing.
This neighborhood is probably one of, if not THE greatest 'hood in NOLA. The Marigny is so accessible to the FQ and downtown, along with the hip and trendy Bywater. The neighbors are wonderful and there is so much to do and great places to eat nearby. It is super walkable, friendly and quaint.
I would Uber or taxi. There is public transit, but I'm in a very walkable area.
Other things to note
Great little grocery called Mardi gras zone on royal and port street. Open all hours, but don't have alcohol. Only silk road and up at hanks (a bit more dangerous section) have alcohol.
It is my own house, so I would hope you would be respectful of my home and things. NO SMOKING

I love New Orleans and am excited you are considering staying at my place, although you may not even see me bc you have your own private space (separate from my living space). I am happy to steer you in the right direction for food and music. I love my pets, so am happy to consider your furry travel companion. Your dog must be ok with cats, too, bc they often hang on the porch.
I'm an occupational therapist, but primarily teach (university), ride a motor scooter, and feel lucky to live in the Marigny/New Orleans.
