  • The place was in a great location, right in the center of the city and walking distance to everything. Check in and out was easy and they were friendly and were kind enough to send us links to websites with what to do. The wifi worked great and the apartment, although simple and somewhat old, was good for the price and kept nice and clean. It was also bright with two big doors to open and let the air in. The biggest problem we had was the shower drain tend to work really slow and there is a chance for flooding.

  • Whilst the apartment may be a little tired, it is quite suitable for the price. The room was clean, but the shower does have a tendency to flood. You can choose to stay in and cook or go out for a meal.

The location is great, right in the heart of Lisbon. A number of restaurants are within easy walking distance.

  • We had a great vacation in Lisbon. Proper flat, good conditions, near to the centre of the city. Everything was ok.

    April 2014
  • We had a great stay at this apartment. The location is great, the flat is well equipped and the wi-fi worked perfectly. Sergio was quick to replace the gas bottle which got empty during our stay.

  • Great place. In the heart of everything you want to be close to. Had a great time. Thank you!

  • The situation is very good!

    March 2014
  • The location is great. Very lively area. Lots of nice bars and restaurants. "Toma lá, da cá" right at the corner has excellent home-made like Portuguese cooking in a very local and friendly atmosphere. Lisbon is magical. The apartment is very charming, but a little bit of work would make it perfect. The extra sofabed doesn't work properly and the bathroom could be easily improved, specially the shower. The neighborhood Baixa-Chiado is very intereting. Another must try recommendation: the nearby seafood, portuguese-japanese fusion cooking restaurant "We Sea". Unforgetable experience.

    January 2014
  • The House is really good located in the center of Lisbon, clean and closed to everything! My experience was really positive, and I would like to come back as soon as possible! I didn't have the opportunity to meet Sergio, however his collegue Gabriela was really friendly with us and polite!

    January 2014
  • Everything went well. Despite not meeting Sergio personally, he was very pleasant over the phone and ensured everything was organised.

@Sergio - Lisbon was outstanding. Certainly will be back! Thanks.

    December 2013
  • Small, but quite enouph for 2 or3-4 persons. Wonderful location on the typical LSB's street in the heart of Bico. 5-8 minuts for the metrostation. It's need us nearly 20 min to reach Rossio by walking. Olga

About
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ BICA neighborhood in LISBON Lisbon's most photographed street is RUA DA BICA DUARTE BELO. It descends a hill from BAIRRO ALTO to the riverfront, and the streets that cross it form a charming residential neighborhood known as BICA, in ancient times connected to the river and is economic activities. That picturesque street is known for its funicular, the iconic ELEVADOR DA BICA that creaks up and down the hill as tourists snap photos. Framing the funicular are pastel-colored houses and the river in the distance, while many of the doors open as hip bars at night. Bica's FUNICULAR A strange vehicle, as if come out of the imagination of the novelist Jules Verne, with an amazing design circulates in the city of Lisbon. The original vehicle contained reservoirs of water that filled the highest point, and emptied at the lowest point, working in pairs, connected by a cable system, running by the difference of weights, the so called, FUNICULAR system. Conceived by Portuguese engineer, Raoul Mesnier du Ponsard, the funicular was installed in 1892. Due to its enormous historical importance, cultural and touristic, the elevator was classified National Heritage in February 2002. ME The funicular TRAM's of LISBON are the connection between all my apartments, all located along the rails, it is always possible to see one of them, either from a balcony a window or a entrance door!
