This is a comfortable Riad/Home situated in the Medina of
Marrakech close to absolutely everything and easy to reach from the airport. I live here in one of the 3 rooms and so there are 2 double rooms available for rent, each with its own charming character.
Room Tamimt is a cool haven from the bustle of the souks (markets) and has a large tadelik bath with hand held shower and traditional bower windows overlooking the central courtyard.
Room Liqamt has double windows, overlooking the courtyard and draped with bouganvillia, a large futon double bed and a funky tadelak bathroom with walk in shower and handmade beaten metal sink.
Each room faces into the Riad so you are assured of peace and quiet. You hear only the calls to prayer and birds singing.
There is a well equipped kitchen with stove and oven and a comfortable living room and a dining room with table and chairs for 6 people. There is also a fabulous rooftop terrace with high walls to ensure privacy and raised area offering views over the rooftops of the Medina. Relax there after a long day sightseeing and shopping, enjoying the cool Marrakech evening breezes. There is also a laundry with washing machine. There is a 30 euro final cleaning fee.
Availability is on demand.
We can arrange airport transfers.
We can also arrange for superb Hamam (spa) and massages.
Leah was such a great host! She was really helpful in helping us get around the city, finding places to go to, recommending restaurants and stores. The room was perfect and clean, and Leah made sure we were warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!
Leah was a very helpful host. The room was comfortable and the whole place is nicely decorated and very well located. Thank you!
Leah was a very welcoming host and helpful with directions with great knowledge of Marrakech. The riad was very nucely decorated, clean and spacious. It is in a great location too.
The riad is awesome and Leah is a perfect guide of Marrakesh. Thanks
I had a wonderful time in Marrakech. The room was so nice and Leah is a wonderful person, who gives many advices to enjoy Marrakech. She is always there and helpful!!!!Thanks a lot,i will come back!;)
Very nice place to stay in Marrakesch. Not so easy to find the Derb for the first time.
Leah gave us very informational tips for the Medina and nice hints for good restaurants.
Leah's place is wonderful and her hospitality is over-the-top. She was always available for help and suggestions on what to do in Marrakech and its surroundings. She's a great host and a great person, I definitely feel lucky I got to meet her and stay with her. I would recommend her place hands down.
Leah was a charming host and her riad room was perfect for us. Light, airy and 'singing' with a style (and sounds of surrounding birds/chickens) you would expect of a more traditional Moroccan abode, the room was also well equipped and tastefully decorated. The location was tranquil but just metres from main street/souk activity which meant we had the best of both worlds. Leah was friendly, hospitable and relaxed, all the while giving her time generously to provide airport transfers, first day orientation, local tips and insights, suggestions for dining and experiences. One of her best suggestions was to arrange for us a 1-day trek at the foot of the Atlas Mountains - well worth investigating as a contrast to the lively streets of Marrakech; our Berber guide was educational and delightful. We highly recommend Leah and the Liqamt room.
