The Space

Looking for a nice room in a special and central house in Bologna? Look no further!
The room is very peaceful, with the window towards the private garden and the bathroom just next to your door.
The house comes with all the modern comfort (wifi, micro, oven, fridge, washing machine... etc)
Our historical street "Broccaindosso" is inside the city belt in the university area, is well known for having the best restaurants and being the house of famous poets and artists.
It's easily reachable with public transport, and with several small shops and supermarket close by.
Every guest will have a clean towels and sheets.

Bologna, hosting the oldest university in the world, is very lively and full of events, concerts, expos, museum and cinema, a city famous for good food but not just for it!
It's not that big you can cross the city center by foot in less then 30 minutes.

If you want to know about Bologna and other city in the surrounding from the historical-artistic point of view, a professor of the fine art academy will bring you around for a guided tour.

If you travel with your dog/cat there is no problem there are welcome.

For any needs you just have to ask I'll do my best to make the best out of your stay.
I'd like you to feel at home but also to treat it like it was your home!

I'm born here in Bologna I work as a professional 3D artist and software developer.
Looking forward to guest you!

  • Eli has been a great host and has showed me what Bologna truly is about. He recommended great dining locations, helped me fulfill my dream of visiting the Ducati Museum and his home was very lovely. I recommend him to anyone who would truly like to explore the true Bologa experience.

  • We had a good time at Elis place. Eli was very helpful and took us with him to a organic market. The room is nice and and espacially the garden is wonderful.
The place is central and calm at the same time - perfect to explore the city and relax afterwards. :)

  • Eli was a warm and friendly host whose place is cosy, and a short walk from the city centre. His recommendations for restaurants to eat at were excellent. Easy to book and convenient too.

  • Eli was a wonderful and welcoming host! Comfortable room with access to a magical garden. Accommodation in a great location and €8 euro taxi from train if you don't want to take the bus. Thanks Eli for a great stay. Pity it was only 1 night!

  • Eli was a gracious host and the room (and garden) were lovely. He greeted me when I arrived at around 12:00 pm and handed over the keys, as well as giving me a tour of the apartment space and suggesting a few nearby businesses. I traveled to the apartment by bus from the Bologna airport. I had to make one transfer, but in about 30 minutes I ended up a block away from the space. Eli kindly provided these directions after I made my reservation.

The apartment is located in a beautiful and historic part of the city, an easy walk to landmarks like the medieval Due Torre and the church of Santo Stefano. The room itself was very quiet, with a large bed and a desk (including an ethernet hook-up, definitely a plus). The shared bathroom was located right next to the bedroom and was quite spacious. I only spent one night there, but it was a pleasant stay.

  • Eli was a great host, he took the time to explain the city layout to us and point out some restaurants, markets, and events we might enjoy. He also made us delicious espresso on our last morning.

The house, although a bit dusty, was comfortable and well-located near the university. We really enjoyed our stay!

  • Eli was a very welcoming and friendly host. We felt more like we were staying at a friend's place than a stranger's. The garden is nice and Bologna is a beautiful town as a whole. Eli recommended us an excellent place to eat and had other great recommendations for us, as well. Grazia, Eli!

  • Eli is a great host. The house is great and at a great location. Almost in the center of town. Bologna is a beautiful city. Staying with Eli would ensure a good trip. He's like to laugh and have a good conversation with his guests. The garden is a gem, to sit there after a busy day in Bologna is perfect. I highly recommend Eli as a host since he knows a lot about the city and can give you good tips on where to go. If you go to Bologna this is the place to be!
