Dick and M-E were great hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Ridgway. Their place was a great hub for visiting the surrounding communities of Ridgway, Ouray, and Telluride. We received some great input from Dick about the local hot springs and restaurants. Overall, we had an excellent experience in their lovely home.
M-E and Dick made our stay the most friendly and warm since we began using this service. They have a zest for life like my husband and I, which made us bond to them immediately. They have experienced so many things in their life and are eager to share with the world. Every suggestion they provided was enjoyed by us and my family who was visited in the area.
Their home and its location is gorgeous and the bed and furnishings were perfect too.
We hope to stay with them the next time we visit and catch up with them.
Dick and M-E are wonderful hosts! We are so bummed that we only stayed one day. They are now our favorite hosts. Their home is beautiful, clean and cozy. They shared their story with us and cooked us delicious breakfast. They are an inspiration and we really enjoyed our short stay in their home. The view is amazing, you wake up to the view of the mountains and they have Lamas =) There's also a bike trail and minutes drive to town. I HIGHLY recommend their home.
I truly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend one of their rooms to anyone. Ridgway was beautiful, and Dick and M-E were wonderful hosts, who were extremely knowledgeable about the area. Both the upstairs deck and main room were perfect places to relax with a great mountain view (the first night was clear, I got to watch a storm roll in the second night, and saw fresh snow on the mountaintops the second morning). The running trail accessible from just outside their home could not have been more convenient.
These hosts were wonderful. The space for guests is separate, well supplied and restful. Views of the area from the house are impressive. I had a great stay.
This was the most perfect place for us to stay on our way to Mesa Verde! Dick and M-E were very friendly and we shared some good stories. We love their house and especially the little details everywhere. The house has three guest bedrooms on the upper level, all very spacious and a big area to chill. The balcony is amazing with views to the mountains! We stayed in Room two I think and we slept very well. Our breakfast was far and beyond! M-E is a great cook and we were set for a perfect day! Ridgway is a cute little place to hang out and next time we would definitely try to stay longer. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
This lodging is located in such a beautiful setting. We loved the view from the balcony , seeing the mountains and the llama pastures below. Dick and EM were so informative and helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious with a large living room just for guests available for relaxing. I would stay there again if in this area. Felt like home to me. Though we got in late both nights, there was a welcoming light left on for us at the door.
Dick and M-E were wonderful host and a pleasure to talk with. Enjoyed sitting on the deck at night watching the stars and having use of the common room. Great stay would use again.
We stayed with Dick and M-E over Labor Day weekend and we could not have asked for better hosts or a nicer, cozier stay. We all connected right away and got to enjoy a lot of relaxing and interesting conversation, in addition to excellent hospitality. The upstairs has the privacy of a hotel with the comfort of home. The kitchen/living room area feels like you're staying with friends you've known all your life. I am a huge animal lover and deeply enjoyed the dog, cats, and the amusing and adorable llamas. Dick and M-E pretty much live in a paradisical setting with such fantastic views. As for the region--stunning. Gorgeous area to explore hundreds of miles in any direction. We ate at a lot of local restaurants, went to a rodeo, and sat in Hot Springs. The only downside was having to leave. Thank you Dick and M-E!!
Such a wonderful place to stay! Had a beautiful room and wonderful breakfast ready for me when I woke up. I wish I could have stayed longer. HIGHLY Recommend a stay with Dick+ M.E.!
