We arrived in Elounta when it was raining. Notwithstanding Elena's clear directions, we came from a different direction and got lost. Elena drove out to meet us and we followed her back to Villa Amalia where she gave us a warm welcome with complimentary wine and a brief overview. Her son Manos, too, was kind.
Elena also had an information booklet which gave us a plethora of information on nearby mountain villages. The accommodation made us feel at home.
très bon accueil d'ailleurs nous étions perdu et son fils est venu nous chercher à pied à un point de rencontre par la suite éléna reste discréte mais totalement à la disposition c'est une première expérience que nous renouvellerons entre autre grace à ce premier accueil
We had a fantastic stay partly thanks to Elena who's really a wonderful hostess. She took care of us and did everything she could to make us feel at home.
The flat is like on the pictures - simple but comfortable and well equipped. You'll find everything you can need when on holiday....
It's true that the road is noisy, bur you get used to it after a few hours and the beautiful view largely compensates for this inconvenient.
The location is very good because it's not too close to Ag. Nikolaos (nice but very busy town) and close to Havania beach (5 to 10 min walk) which is really nice !
Lots of things to see in the region and you'll find useful information in the flat (thank you for that too, Elena!).
If you're good walkers and if the weather isn't too hot, you can do withour a car. We finally decided to rent one because it was very, very hot and because we wanted to see a few villages which couldn't be reached by bus.
In conclusion, a very good place and a fantastic hostess ! Thank you again Elena!
Waren mit unseren 2 Kinder (4/6) dort. Alles tiptop.
Zu eine Sandstrand kann man problemlos laufen. Auto erforderlich.
Sehr herzliche Gastgeber.
First of all thank you for all! It was a amazing week in your acommodation, we hope to find time to come back next year!
Excellent accueil des hôtes. Beaucoup d'attentions à notre arrivée: Petits déjeuners prêts pour le lendemain, fruits et produits régionaux mis à notre disposition et également savons shampoing et lessive,etc.. Rien ne manquait!
