ARRIVING IN OSLO
From Gardemoen airport
The easiest way is to take the train from the airport to Nationalteatre (Takes 20 min). From Nationalteater too here is about a 7 min walk. Make sure when you arrive at nationalteater station that you exit at "Henrik Ibsens Gate/Parkveien", it's much closer!! Not all airport trains stop at Nationaltheater so take the train that stops at all stations (It's about 70% off the trains )

Very attentive, friendly, welcoming, helpfull. Jonas and Melisa were the perfect hosts. We felt right at home. The beds were comfy, the conversation lively and the attitude relaxed and welcoming. Simply put we were at a friends place. We are eternaly gratefull for meeting and staying with them. I could not recomend them more highly, Oslo is way better with them.
Jonas was great to communicate with. He was extremely helpful in finding our way to public transit. He was at the apartment when we arrived and shiwed us around the place. The beds were comfy and the space was large. His roommate was very friendly and offered her assistance when we needed suggestions on local restaurants and activities. Everything was exactly what we expected and perfect for our needs. His roommate has the best little Pug, very mild mannered and non-bothersome. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, his roommate does smoke, but it is not noticeable in the bedroom area. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, Oslo, along with much if Europe is very tobacco friendly so make preparations for yourself. Jonas, his roommate, the pug, and the location were all perfect. Public transportation in Oslo is vast and within a 2 minute walk.
Some people are lovely and some people are interesting. Jonas ist one of those species who are both, so meeting him was a pleasure and enlightenment. I was especially impressed with the openess and ease with which he met and accomodated our whole family, including two children. Later on they kept asking for him.
We were allowed to use everything, be everywhere and felt like home!
We enjoyed our conversations with Jonas during our stay. The accommodations and location were as expected.
The flat was nice and quiet, nice guests in the other rooms and all was at our disposal. I did not have the pleasure to meet Jonas in person but he arranged everything to be in place by our arrival. Thank you
Thus started with some poor communication from Jonas which prevented us from getting into our room as quickly as we would have liked. The room itself was gorgeous, large with high ceilings and a nice balcony. The location is one if the nicest in Oslo, within walking distance to some of the best tourist attractions, including the Royal Palace, Opera House and the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park.

My name is Jonas and I am 29 years old. I have my own business here in Oslo and Stockholm, so I travel quite often between the two places. Previously I have lived and studied in Melbourne, a city I loved. I'm very social/outgoing and my biggest passion is to travel and experience new things.I have been in 60 countries on 6 kontinents and see airbnb as a way of meeting travelers at home :)
