90 sqm (968 sqft) fully furnished, two-bedroom apartment on the third floor of a landmark apartment building. It is decorated and maintained to a high standard, with contemporary design furniture and fittings, and all you'd expect in a modern apartment.
The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, oven and hobs, with pots and pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery, cups and glassware.
The rate includes all utilities, refuse collection, and electricity, cable TV, and internet hot spot, but excludes telephone - there isn't one.
Parking is NOT included, and a car is unnecessary in Dublin anyway.
Guests can access all areas - the apartment is entirely at their disposal during their stay.
We try to meet our guests on arrival, give them a quick tour of the apartment, hand over the keys and then leave them to their own devices. We are on the phone for urgent situations and live nearby.
If guests wanted to be met at Dublin Airport, we can arrange a pick up in the arrivals hall at a reasonable fee.
Barrow Street, and the streets in the immediate vicinity, are rapidly becoming the trendiest places for IT people to live and hang out. A stay here will put you right in the heart of the buzzy, hip and trendy Dublin. There are grocery shops, cafés, a doctor's surgery, and a pharmacy: all in a bustling lively and youthful community. In a city where night life is as important as sightseeing, it is good to know there are bars and restaurants all within a short walk.
The Grand Canal bank makes a lovely linear park for strolling in leafy Dublin 4, and the city centre is a short DART ride or an easy walk. The Grand Canal Basin is the new hot spot for concerts, plays, water-sports and all kinds of other activities.
Situated conveniently for DART and commuter rail services, Grand Canal Dock station is 100m away from the front door of the apartment building. Buses pass on adjacent streets and are all city-bound. Taxis are so abundant as to be embarassing.
We cannot provide parking - don't bring a car if you can help it.

Marie Louise was flexible as we arranged to meet up and prompt in her communication. The apt was clean, spacious and close to transportation and markets. The apt had all the conveniences of home, we would gladly stay there again.
Marie-Louise, thank you very much for the stay! The apartment is great, clean, spacious and as described. The location is in the middle of the Dublin tech area, a Spar supermarket is across the street, 15min walk to the Dublin city center. Communication before and after the check-in was perfect, thanks again! Highly recommended! 5 stars.
My second time staying here- great place with everything you need!
Great apartment, modern and clean, very convenient for moving towards the city center. Near the Aviva stadium, great for watch the rugby match.
Marie Louise and Marcus have been very kind and we are very happy to have spent some beautiful days in the sweet Dublin (not of the result of the match, but you can not have everything ....)
Marie Louise has a lovely modern apartment on Barrow Street. We had only a few days there, but thoroughly enjoyed it. When we arrived, everything was clean & in good order. We found the beds extremely comfortable - & if such is not the case, I have a back that quickly tells me otherwise. Marie-Louise had Thomas, a taxi driver she knows, meet us at the airport & introduce us both to Dublin & the apartment. And then for a very reasonable charge, he subsequently twice ran us out to the airport again to meet our son & his partner who came in on separate, later flights. Most kind. The apartment is handy to everything - a pleasant 20 minute walk brings you to St. Stephen's Green & a minute or two more to Temple Bar, There is a Small grocery right across the street & a much larger, "Fresh" food market, a "patisserie" & good restaurants just around the corner and across the Grand Canal Basin bridge. We have no hesitation in recommending 37, Dock Mill as a base for those looking for a safe, quiet and convenient base from from which to explore the delights of the Irish capital
My friend and I had a great time staying at Marie's apartment in Dublin. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and had all we needed for a great 3 day stay in Dublin.
The location was very good, though a bit tough to walk to city center in the cold/rainy winter weather. That said, it's right next to a taxi stand which makes finding cabs at any hour of the day very easy as well. It's also across the street from a grocery/drug store, which made random shopping needs very easy. One thing to note is that the wifi in the apartment is blazing fast. Not that we spent our whole time in Dublin inside on the internet, but this proved very helpful when we wanted to stream/download a movie, or catch up on email during some down time.
Marie was very responsive leading up to our stay, and provided all the relevant instructions (security codes, wifi passwords, etc) well in advance of our arrival. It seemed like Marie's preferred form of communication was calling or texting, which was a bit tough for us since we did not have an international phone. We were able to manage fine with email, but did have to wait at the apartment for around 15 minutes because of a slight miscommunication on arrival time.
All in all, a seamless and wonderful place to stay for our first visit to Dublin. Will make sure to look this place up the next time we're in town!
Marie-Louise's apartment was lovely - well-equipped, clean, and in a good location for getting around Dublin. Perfect place to stay for a quiet, relaxed visit.
We had a lovely time in Dublin. Walked a lot, did the Guiness brewery, took de train to Hoth and went to the Gailhouse. Enjoyed the Dublin busses and of course the irish pubs.
We had a warm welcome at the airport and at the appartement when we arrived om Wednesday evening. The appartment was nice and comfortable. We can definitely recommend it!
Thomas took us to the arport again on Sunday. Loved his stories during the trips.
We defenitely come back to get to know Ireland better.
Great place, well-located, and you won't be disappointed staying here!
