There is a new flat screen TV in the kitchen and in the upper living area. It is warm, cozy and ready for your visit. Come to Estes Park Colorado and relax and enjoy the mountain air and beautiful environment.

I usually don't even see my guests as there is a lock box with a key and that gives entry to the house. I live about 40 minutes away. There is a neighbor that checks on the property and cleans for me.

You can see pictures but you never know how they reflect the reality of a place. We can say without hesitation that the pictures are worth a thousand words. The Columbine Home is a home, more than a house. The house is wonderful, but the host has made it a home--from the seasonal decorations for our stay over the holidays to well-equipped kitchen, including a gas range, to even the squeegee to clean the shower. Even the seasonal music on the iPod was so nice. And, of course, the setting is lovely--from views of the foothills to the elk that roamed through the side yard. We could not have asked for more. Thank you, LuAnn, for a memorable holiday experience for our family.
Ahhhh, thanks! I am so glad you enjoyed my home so much. I love it too, but it is always fun when guests feel the same way. Thank you again for choosing my home for your holiday and family vacation, and for taking such good care of it.
I hope you can come again someday! Lu
If you are visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, this house is a great, spacious place to stay. An easy 5 minute drive into Estes Park, we saw lots of Elk all over the area, even in the backyard of the house! Beautiful views of the mountains from the newly remodeled kitchen and dining room were pleasant to wake up to each morning.
The listing description was accurate and no hassles
We enjoyed staying at the Columbine house. We even saw a bear! The house was accommodated us comfortably. We had five children under the age of four and they were able to play. The kitchen and views were (website hidden) was very helpful and took care of all our needs.
This house has an older exterior but the interior is recently updated with top-tier appliances/amenities, it is clean and has a modern feel, and was very nice. A spacious house in a safe and convenient neighborhood (close access to RMNP) where we had plenty of room to spread out. An awesome mountain view from upstairs area! LuAnn was very easy to work with and responsive to my inquiries. It was a great experience.
We absolutely loved the Columbine House! LuAnn was an excellent host! We loved the remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. And the view of Estes Valley from the upstairs kitchen were amazing! Comfy beds and saw all kinds of wildlife including a family of elk right outside the house. Would highly recommend this house for your next vacation!
Thank you Mike, I hope you can come again sometime. Estes is such a lovely valley and I'm glad my home met your expectations. I had a great time remodeling it and just couldn't bring myself to sell it! So now I have the best of both worlds. Thanks for choosing my home for your vacation. Lu
Our time at the Columbine House could not have been (website hidden) made sure anything we could possibly need was available and she was a quick phone call away. She even provided equipment for our twin one year old grandbabies. The kitchen/ living area upstairs was a perfect place for us to hang out with it's beautiful views and amazing fully equipt kitchen with an island so we could easily cook together. We were very comfortable and able to relax. Elegantly furnished and decorated throughout. Easy to walk to town or take the back road into the park. Our four generations ages 1 to 87 have great memories of our stay.
Thank you Julie for your kind remarks. It makes me smile to know precious memories are made while staying at my home. I 'm glad you will remember it so fondly. Maybe you can visit again one day, I would love to have you and your family back! Thanks for taking such good care of my home. Lu
My husband and I have lived in the northern Colorado area all of our lives. We spend a lot of time in Estes and I love remodeling real estate. So with the Columbine house it has been a labor of love to improve it over the past 2 years. We bike, hike, golf and shop in the Estes Valley and call it our second home.
