About This Listing
In the core of Copenhagen, bright four room apartment, two bedrooms, two livingrooms, balcony and elevator. Five minute walk to the main shopping street - Strøget. Torvehallerne with delicacies, the great relaxed walk around 'Søerne' (The Planetarium) - and (almost) as short a distance to both the colorful Nørrebro/Vesterbro and the more calm Østerbro. The street provides great and special cafés/restaurants, good italian ice cream - and peaceful sleep despite the central location. You are close to everything Copenhagen provides and yet it is still possible to retire to a quiet rest on the balcony enjoying the view of the green areas.
The apartment is personally decorated - with green plants in and out.
Two beds (120x200)in separate rooms. I provide you with bed-linen, towels and you don't have to think about cleaning the flat when leaving.
Tea, coffee and milk for your first morning is provided too.
Wireless net is in the flat.
15 minutes Metro-trip from the airport/ two minutes from The Central Station to Nørreport Station - and then five minutes walk to my apartment.
The flat is 100 % NO-SMOKING AREA - inside and on the balcony. Info to potential allergic people: A cat is living here - in the winter ;-)
I expect you to behave the way you would like to be treated yourself. Please no partying - I prefer to keep a good relationship to my neighbours.
Helle asked that I text on arrival at Copenhagen airport and was available to greet us at the apartment when we arrived, which was late in the evening. Our return flight was quite late in the evening also and we were very grateful to Helles for allowing us to stay in the apartment until 6p.m. when we left for the airport, this was very generous. The apartment, whilst simply furnished, was clean and very bright and the location very central, the neighbourhood seemed very safe with young families. It has lovely and very reasonable cafés, three parks and the National Art Gallery are in the immediate vicinity and there is a great daily market with cafés and bars near the local train/metro station. The front bedroom on the street was quite noisy, this was mainly due to the building work in the locality as lorries were delivering supplies, the back bedroom, facing into the gardens, was much quieter.
Hi Cora - If you needed more towels then why didn't you ask me to come a give you some? You got my number with the message, that you were welcome to text me.....
According to the table mats: If I was concerned about my guests damaging the table I would have provided you with table mats - but we never use them ourselves. And obviously you found one by looking around. ;-)
Nice clean modern apartment. The location is in a residential area close to city centre, most of the time we would walk to Norreport station (5mins) and then get the metro to other locations in the city, there was also plenty of buses in the area and the public transport is very easy to use. There's lots of nice restaurants and bars very close to the apartment so we spent most evenings eating out in the area. Helle was very accomodating when we were arriving quite late on the 1st day and also letting us stay as long as we wanted on the last day. Would definitely recommend to stay there. The only thing we found slightly strange was not having curtains/blinds on the bedroom windows so you get the natural/street light at all times but for us this wasnt an issue.
Helle's apartment is in a great location close to many cafes and restaurants. It's close to the centre of town and we had a great time enjoying the fantastic weather Copenhagen laid out for us. The apartment is very comfortable and would definitely recommended to stay there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Helle's apartment. It was perfectly located for us and right near some amazing restaurants and cafés. Helle was there to greet us and show us around the apartment. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Great place to stay; we would recommend it, and Helle was really understanding when things didn't go according to plan!
About the Host, Helle
