About This Listing
This sunny, two bedroom house is color and windows. People watch from the front porch or enjoy quiet on the rear deck. Oak lined Esplanade Ave with cafes and restaurants is two blocks away; borrow my bike for a quick jaunt to the French Quarter.
Overall, our stay in Tremé was great. It was made much easier with Jordan, because she is friendly, easy to communicate with, and happy to help us as visitors to New Orleans. A good hostess, she gave us space to do our own thing, but was still as present as we needed. Definitely recommended!
Jordan was a wonderful host in her beautiful home! Lovely, colorful house & comfortable room! The back sun room is really nice and unique :). Jordan was very friendly and gave us some tips and suggestions for exploring New Orleans. She also gave us books/maps and told us to text her with any questions. We really liked staying in a house with a classic new orleans style architecture. Enjoy your visit!
My visit in New Orleans was even greater while staying at Jordan which made my weekend trip very uncomplicated.
There are some opportunities to travel around by bus or tram but I'd strongly recommend to use a bike. Jordan provided her bike to me, which was a great benefit. Just ask for it. Otherwise you'll have to call a taxi or an Uber (still to come) to go to the French Quarter (if you won't prefer public transportation).
You'll have your own private bathroom, however for showering you've to use Jordan's master bathroom, which is not a problem due to she takes consideration of her guests at each time of you stay.
The guest room is big enough to host three people (two beds and a huge closet). You'll have direct access to the private bathroom.
The house is furnished pretty nice, very harmonious and cozy. In the sun room, the room at the back of this shotgun house, comes with free Wi-Fi access. Depending on your device you might be able to have a Wi-Fi connection in the guest room as well.
If you like cats, you'll enjoy your stay. Jordan has two cats, one male and one female. Close to her home is Subway (sandwiches) and two small discount stores/supermarkets; approx. 5 min by feet.
Jordan was very welcoming. She accommodated our needs to store our bikes and was very prompt at answering our questions. We loved her house very relaxed feel warm and historic. We would definitely stay here again.
Shannon was there to welcome me upon my arrival.
The house and neighborhood were as described on the profile.
Jordan was very helpful and accommodating to us. Personal 1/2 bath was convenient. Would highly recommend as bus stop is 2 minutes away. The home is located in a prime location to travel in any direction depending on what your looking for.
I actually made this reservation for my cousin and her friend; they liked it very much at Jordan’s house. They said Jordan was very welcoming; and the house was clean and their room was very spacious. They were able to walk to the French Quarter from her house, so great price for a great location. Jordan was very easy to communicate with, and she responded quickly. Thank you for having them at your house!!

About the Host, Jordan
I'm an avid traveler from Seattle who has settled down in New Orleans. Proud to call it home, but I occasionally miss my gitana days...I make up for it by hosting. It's been amazing getting to know people from all over the globe!
