Coronado is a great beach community in Panama, with a vibrant expat community, surfing, golfing.. horseback riding, great restaurants and grocery shopping centers, and only 1hour and 15 minute drive from the city! (I have Panama City apartment rentals also)
1. The home - KICK BACK PAD - One bedroom with Queen AND double, private bath, and full use of home amenities. Kitchen and back deck/garden may be shared with owner, when I am there - but I travel alot. Can offer discounts based on length of stay etc.. email me please. Also, this property will be discounted and length of stay could be less than the minimum, if I happen to be staying in the home at that time. in this case, it would be a shared situation, ie.. "Private Room" (which applies to this particular listing) instead of "Entire home/apt". Even if shared, you have your own room and own bathroom.

Here is more info for you about my Coronado property:
In the evening, the garden is romantically lit and coloured lights shine from the palms. It's very quiet and relaxing -- and it's lovely waking to the sounds of Coronado birds, watching the butterflies and hummingbirds in the flowers.
The hotel/golf course is an easy walk (3 blocks) and the beach is only about 2 blocks away.
Private 1 bedroom (with Queen AND double bed), full bath (shower/hot water).. fully equipped kitchen including ice maker, gas stove, blender, full fridge and freezer, all pots/pans etc. Living room with large tv and extra cable channels.
Wireless internet, high speed access
games such as darts / ping pong
cell phone provided for your use
lovely big pool in backyard, hammocks, chairs/table etc in garden
Washing machine on site.
The property is only 3 blocks from the hotel/golf course, and about 2
blocks from the beach.
Basically, the property has a 2 bdrm home (mine with the extra bedroom/bath detailed above). And.. 3 apartments (casitas) . My caretakers Vilma and Luis (who are like my family!) live in one apartment, they keep the garden tidy, lawn mowed and the pool maintained, as well as being great security for the property. They are extremely helpful and anything you need they are there. I also have an English speaking property manager, Susan.. who can easily be called if you had questions about the property or needing translating for Vilma etc.
The other 2 casitas are also rentals and may or may not be booked when you are at the home. If they are, only the outside areas are shared. Everyone would have their own entrance, own bedroom and own bath and own kitchens (own private space) if all casitas were booked.
It is also possible for the renters to request cleaning/laundry services from Vilma at a reasonable cost
All info is outlined in the guest book guide you will find in each apartment. If you do not wish daily maid service, you can keep the house cleaned yourself (have all equipment) and there is a washing machine outside for everyone's use.
Vilma is a lovely woman, in fact, they have both become an important part of my family and their #1 priority is keeping the property secure and tidy. Guests must understand that the caretakers are spanish speaking only.. but.. if I am not in country, you can call my property manager or driver for translating and I am always available by email.
My guests have loved staying at my home and often comment on the "great vibe".., and the location is fantastic close to golf, hotel and beach. Lots of parking.. caretakers on site, and the price is right!
Why do I feel I stand out from the competition? I do believe in sincere guest service, and get to know many of my clients personally. Most importantly, I ensure my apartments are very well maintained, fully equipped, nicely decorated, and totally functional
Guests have the luxury of the combination of privacy and social time. Each casita has it's own kitchen and space, so private. Outdoor areas are all shared, gardens, pool, patios and often guests get together for a potluck, BBQ or just a friendly chit chat. Lifelong friends have been made on this property!
Interaction with Guests
As the owner of the house and property, I am most often here and can assist guest with travel plans, questions and we often socialize together. In the rare event that I am traveling, I have caretakers and a property manger to ensure the guests are comfortable and have all they need, and I am always in contact by email in the seldom event that I am out of the country.
I live in the BEST neighbourhood in Coronado. In fact most of the amenities near the beach (hotel/golf, corner store, bars, restaurants..) are walking distance from my house. The major supermarkets are more located at the highway, so only a 5 minute drive
Most folks have a rental car. If you don't have one, no problem! Local buses go every few minutes to the grocery store and highway.. 35 cents. Also, I have a golf cart for rent.

This property is a great vibe property and I have received the most awesome , polite and fun guests over the last 8 years. Not too many rules.. just the basics:
- Respect for other renters if present (ie late night noise/parties)
- Shower before using pool
- Being respectful of electricity costs and minimizing a/c use, while turning off when not using or when out.
- rinsing out sand from clothing before using washing machine

I'm British Born, brought up in B.C. Canada (notice I didn't say "grew up" haha). and have had the pleasure and priveledge of adopting other countries (and families!) along the way.
