Apartment - Entire home/apt · Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia

The Space

We are two young architects living in Ljubljana with our two little furry dogs. We rent out a newly renovated apartment on the third floor and live on the second one in an old villa, which is located in the quiet part of Ljubljana. The house itself it's not in a great shape, but the apartment quite makes up for it. :) It is a 15 minute walk to the city center.

We offer an apartment with:
- a bedroom with a double bed, which has a view of the Ljubljana castle,
- a living room with a sofa bed and amazing view of the sunsets,
- new kitchen with all the appliances and counter top made from recycled old parquet floors,
- and a brand new bathroom with walk in shower, concrete sink, epoxy floors and a loo with a view. :-)

Animals are more than welcome!

Free parking is on the public street in front of the house. There is a bus stop (number 14) one minute away and bus stop (number 6) five minutes away.

In the walking distance there is a grocery store, the biggest Ljubljana's park - Tivoli and the zoo.

  • Tinca is a very nice host. She gave me useful information for my visits to the city center and I appreciated her delicious home made muffins, which made me feel welcome instantly. I felt very comfortable in her flat, where I stayed for several days. From there I went for day trips around the country and visited the city center. I did not mind at all walking around 15 min to the center and taking the bus back to the flat (no. 14 departing from city center and stopping very near the flat. Bus cards can be bought for 2 EUR at a bus stop in the center or at a kiosk and must be loaded with the fare before getting on the bus. One bus trip costs 1.20 EUR). I would like to mention the well equipped kitchen and the spacious bath room with a huge walk-in shower. I also liked the way the flat was decorated. I highly recommend Tinca's flat.

  • we spent a fantastic time in Slovenia, and part of that because of Tinca. We were very well installed in her flat, such as being at home, we felt very confortable. Great muffins on the first day, and useful info about transports in Ljubjana.

well situated and grocerys near it.

it was just one "but"...not Spain or Slovenia playing the great final match at the Basketball Championship.. really a pitty!

By the way, recommending your your flat to others, or just us when coming back there.

  • We stayed at Tinca's place only for a couple of days, but we enjoyed every minute of it. The apartment is designed with a great taste, so we took a lot of inspiration for our home furnishing too. :) Tinca was a great host and even better baker (thx for the muffins!). One has to consider though that the apartment is situated in a nice & quite neighbourhood, yet not in the very centre of Ljubljana (I suggest renting a bike or taking a 20 min walk).

  • We had a great time staying with Tinca. Her flat is beautifully decorated and perfectly located within an easy stroll of down town Ljubljana (there's a bus stop nearby too for when you're carrying heavy bags or feeling less energetic) - very easy to get out about about to explore! Tinca herself gave us a very warm welcome, including welcome muffins and a wealth of local information to get us started. If you're looking for a place to stay in Ljubljana, this place should be top of your list!

  • We loved our stay! Tinca was a great host, really helpful and accommodating. The flat is very clean and beautifully designed and well situated. ( it is a short walk to the local supermarket and the city centre is about a 20 minute walk away). We would thoroughly recommend this apartment!

  • Tinca is a lovely host with an amazing apartment. It's clean, big enough for at least 4 people and beautifully furnished.

Though the location is not in the center of Ljubljana I would deffinatly reccomend this place to anyone. Because Ljubljana is a wonderful city and staying in this apartment made us feel like we were truly living there for a couple of days.

  • Tinca was a very nice host, she helped us in everything (gave us maps, called a taxi for us etc.), and our arrival at late night was not a problem at all for her. She waited for us with delicious chocholate&banana muffins and orange juice. The apartment is perfectly clean and beautifully decorated - feels like home. First time it seemed a bit far away from the city center, but you can easily get used to that little walk:) The neighbourhood is really calm and nice, and there is a grocery store 200 meters away which is very convenient. I would definitely stay in the nFlat again!

  • Tinca was perfect host!
She provided a city map and detailed instructions on how to get to the city center.
The apartment has great design (especially bathroom) and is fully equipped.
Very clean and quiet place on walking distance to city center!

    Highly recommended!

  • Very nice flat with welcome muffins, beer and other good things in the fridge. A little bit out of the center of Ljublijana but in 20 minutes you can walk there, take the every half an hour driving bus oder take a not expensive taxi.

  • Tinca is a wonderful hostess and baked us welcome muffins on arrival. She was really helpful with advice on what to do in Ljubljana as well. Free parking outside her house made everything very convenient - we could drive to town whenever we wanted (plus parking in town is also very affordable).

Her apartment is also nothing short of amazing. The photos don't lie and in fact we would say that they don't do the apartment justice. Everything was new and the furnishings were very artistically done. We even found a d-day atlas on her shelf which my friends found was quite an interesting read.

Cutlery, pots, pans etc all new and very clean, plus laundry facilities were great. This place is amazeballs and if you're heading to Ljubljana there's nowhere better you can stay.
