My boyfriend and I had a great stay in Igor's place He was very understanding when we got lost on our way to the apartment, and so welcoming. The flat itself is lovely, it is a studio but feels like more. Everything was in excellent condition, the bathroom was spotless and we really appreciated the groceries left in the fridge and cupboard. Highly recommended!
We had a great time staying at Igor's apartment. The pictures are accurate with the room having a spacious and very comfortable feel. The check-in process was very smooth and Igor even provided us with a welcome bottle of wine. His cousin drove us to the bus station when we left which was very much appreciated. I would recommend this accommodation when staying in Dubrovnik.
Upon arriving we received a warm welcome and a bottle of wine. Igor provided us with lots of information, some handy recommendations and answered all of our questions. The apartment is airy, clean and very well equiped (coffee machine, kitchen equipment and utensils, washing machine, TV with various European channels, free wifi, towels and extra bedding to name a few although a iron would have been handy).
The location was really good for us and was also quiet. One minute (walking) from a bakery and a small supermarket and five minutes from a larger supermarket. 25 minutes or so from the Old Down which is really easy to get to down one straight road. It is also 10-15 minutes from the harbour, and a further five to the bus station.
Igor was very accommodating with our arrival and departure times and looked after our luggage. He also kindly offered us a lift to the
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Igor's apartment and in Croatia in general.
My husband and I stayed in Igor's apartment for 3 nights and had a great time! We only saw Igor upon arrival, but the apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Igor and his wife even left us a nice bottle of wine, which was sweet :)
It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the old town and there are a LOT of stairs and hills along the way. There's also a nearby bus stop that takes you to the center if walking is an issue.
Check out the bakery around the corner for a breakfast snack.
Great little apartment with everything you could need. Near bus stop and supermarket too. Would recommend.
We had a great time staying at Igor’s place which was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It is around a 25-30 minute walk to the Old Town - mostly uphill on the way back (perfect to work off the gelato and cake from the many bakeries!) and around 10 minutes away from the port and the bus station. Igor was an excellent host and kindly left us to the bus station when we were leaving. Definitely recommended.
I had a great stay in Igor and Sylvia's apartment in Gruz in the hills above Dubrovnik. Everything you need is provided in their compact place, including unexpected goodies in the fridge. It is handy for the number 8 Bus into town or a 25 minute walk. Igor picked me up at bus station and returned me there on my departure. They responded quickly to my request for non feather pillows.
Very nice and good appartment with every thing you need! Igor and his wife where very friendly. Ideal for a citytrip to Dubrovnik. Parkingplace is not always easy to find.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Very very clean studio and nicely designed. All essentials included. Even the fridge was stocked with beer and some home made cherry liqueur. We chose this place to be away from the noise of the old city. Its perched up on a hill, and is a bit of a walk, but hey, thats the terrain and character of Croatia. It is very well located to the dock and bus stand - just 10 min walk! This was excellent to take day trips to the islands. And bus to Mostar.
We didn't speak much to Igor mainly because we were out all day, but he seemed hassle free and quite chilled out.
I would highly recommend this place.
Igor's apartment is a really cozy and nice place to stay if you want to visit Dubrovnik. The apartment is equipped with everything one can need, no details are missing! Besides we liked specially the little apartment's terrace in front of the entrance door -since it is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, you can sit there at night or even get breakfast (a couple of bakeries and a supermarket are in a two minutes-walk from the apartment).
To get to the city center you need about 5 minutes by bus.
All in all, highly recommendable!
