We had a great time with Paco and Marisol, we stayed for a week. Despite the language barrier Paco couldn't have been more helpful, so friendly. He helped us with suggestions of where to visit. The location is excellent for Girona , the coast and there are some wonderful medieval villages nearby. The Roman ruins nearby are well worth seeing. You do need a car though. Well worth it as there's so much to see. Lovely clean place, comfy bed, privacy and Paco will cook breakfast for you (5 euros per person). Highly recommended by us! Thank you Paco and Marisol!

Paco's place is the best Airbnb experience I've had so far. Everything was exactly as Paco described. His home is very lovely, clean and comfortable. My husband and I felt very welcomed and at home. It was nice to take walks around the beautiful land and see the ancient ruins. If you are staying in the area I would definately recommend it! Thanks Paco for being such a great host!

We really enjoyed to stay with Paco and Alejandra there, lies in the green hills. They are really nice. Perfectly linked to the best place of Costa Brava, Paco suggested us lot of wonderful places to see and cooked for us delicious healthy and substantial breakfast.

Paco was the best host we could have for our five-day stay in his home. He was available to answer any questions and was an excellent source of information on local plants, food and tourist areas to visit. He actually brought us to Gerona on our last night and gave a tour of the City. It was like having our own tour guide. Paco also brought us to his favorite Tapa restaurant where you could pick your choice of tapas and at the end, the bill was calculated by the number of toothpicks and plates that were left on the table. This was our first time in such a typical Tapa bar. The breakfasts were delicious and wholesome. Paco has his own chickens so the eggs quite fresh. Actually most of the ingredients in his dishes were from his own garden or bought with a lot of care (natural foods). The location is a bit off the main area but its easily accessible via main and rural roads. It is actually not very far from Gerona, a major tourist area that has a lot to offer. Of interest is that there are Roman ruins within walking distance from the house. These can be found on top of a hill overlooking a number of small towns. Quite spectacular! Simply put, we arrived as guests, and left as friends.

What to say about Paco, and his amazing bed and breakfast... I don't know that I'll have the words, sufficient enough to describe it!! First, the location is the perfect balance between convenient and remote - beautifully removed from the hustle and bustle of urban life, yet only a 10-15 min drive to the city of Girona, and 30-40 min away from countless incredible beaches of Costa Brava, and many charming little medieval towns you will want to visit. You will have peace, serenity, and one of the most relaxing, stunning views from his terrace - but you will also have the whole of Costa Brava at your disposal. What could be better! To move on, the property and the house itself are beautiful, clean, and rustic, creating a warm, and truly authentic Catalan atmosphere. There is even an organic garden, and a chicken coop, across the way, where much of Paco's delicious food comes from. We loved our room and on-suite bathroom, as well as the study. I only wish I had more time to explore the library! The entire home is adorned with lovely and tasteful art, much of it created by Paco himself, as he is a wonderful painter. An artist not only on canvas, but also in the kitchen, what will surprise and delight you are Paco's special breakfasts... I don't think I've eaten anything so delicious on our entire trip, and we ate at some wonderful restaurants! Everything is organic, local, and homemade - truly artisan fare, I still dream of his eggs, omelets, salads and homemade salsa :) More than just being a simply wonderful host, Paco also helped my husband and I plan most of our itinerary, during our stay - he suggested the best beaches, and charming towns to visit, giving us detailed directions, and really taking his time with us. The only real disappointment came when we learned that somebody else had booked the space after us, and we could not extend our stay for longer than one extra night. Trust me, you will want to do the same! In all honesty, I wish we had booked the entire week with Paco, instead of splitting up our trip the way we did. Afterwards, nothing could really compare. :) Thank you so much, Paco, for such a lovely time! We both really feel like we've made a new friend. I hope to return again soon, and for a longer stay. Much love and warm greetings to you, from Dejana & Dave :) xo
