We have a very friendly and well behaved young wire-haired pointer called Enzo who would love to meet you.
This was our second stay with Martin and Jo. Always a comfortable stay with very warm and welcoming hosts. Will definitely be staying again.
Jo and Martin were extremely welcoming and made me feel very much at home. I was only in Penrith for a few days and would have liked to have stayed longer!

We spent our nights chatting with this amazing couple who helped us in our day trips with loads of tips, borrowing their maps (they have lots!), and even learning history with them!!
We are definitely going to come back to their lovely home!
Fantastic hosts, very welcoming and comfortable people. Accommodations were perfect and plenty of space. Enzo was a great addition and his tricks were an added bonus. Already planning another stay!!!
We really appreciated the lovely garden and unstressy welcome tea as well as the spacious and comfortable room. Good restaurant recommendation too! Couldn't have been more helpful. Big thumbs up
We had a wonderful time at Martin and Jo's place - the house is beautiful, the room so comfortable and our hosts were really welcoming! We arrived late in the evening and yet, despite the late hour, we were welcomed to their table for wine and good conversation. Even our slightly mad collie was accepted! Their dog Enzo is a beautiful, peaceful hound, with extremely good manners!
The next day we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and then went with Martin and his son and the dogs to the woods for a good walk - all easily accessed without driving. It was really good fun, and set us up for our day of driving back to Devon! We will definitely come back here in the future.
what a great stay, amazing house and equally fab hosts, nothing is too much trouble for martin and jo they really do go the extra ten miles to make u feel comfortable and welcome for the whole of your stay, amazing people with great conversation. thankyou so much for an enjoyable visit.
This was the first time i have used airbnb and Martin & Jo were perfect hosts.
A warm welcome and nice chat welcomed me.
The room was fantastic and massive and hopefully i will be welcome back next time i'm in Penrith.
We were very pleased by our first experience with airbnb. We arrived relatively late, but were warmly received by the hosts, Martin and Jo Storer. Our room was fine, spacious, and as advertised. Breakfast was ample, and if we had not been in a rush to drive down to Gatwick we would have enjoyed chatting more.
The house and room were stunning! Clean, comfortable, and really nicely decorated. Martin and Jo were friendly and accommodating, and even gave us a lift from the station as it was raining. We were in too much of a rush to stay for breakfast, but there seemed to be a good selection of cereal, fruit etc. I would definitely stay again.
