Having travelled extensively around the world we have learned the importance and value of friendly staffing. We run our own accommodation business, Wood Pigeon Lodge, on our 40 acre property with this in mind.
We also have about twenty cows and 50 sheep grazing our land. Tim tends to the accomodation and animals while Ewan is a local school teacher, who helps out when he is not busy teaching (in the holidays).
We bought this land in 1998 when it was just a few paddocks and a hay barn. Together we have built our house and accommodation into what it is today.
We are both keen skiers and love living off the land; we have a large vegetable garden, orchard and berry orchard. We are both enthusiastic gardeners and have enjoyed landscaping and maintaining the surrounding grounds.
We regularly host Wwoofers from overseas, enjoying the cultural exchange that this provides. We continue to love to travel ourselves, often for part of a northern hemisphere ski season. We enjoy meeting people from around the world, and sharing our little patch of paradise.

During your stay
When you arrive just move in, there is no need to come to the main house to check in as we may be busy on the farm. We will come and greet you later and offer any advice on things to do in the area if you require recommendations.
